Lynn - still doesn't get that she is a lowsy parent! I was seriously annoyed with the women for not backing up Gretchen and her dealings with the daughter. How could Vicki compare her son's sociology degree to Gretchen's education? Good thing she spent all that money on a facelift to promote her business, because that is definately better than being homeless....

Tamra - I don't think the split was a publicity stunt. I think she will be much happier without Simon. Now she can live her classless life without interuption.

Alexis - That woman so desperately wanted to be on this show and that limelight is more important to her than anything else.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised that Gretchen had that kind of an education, I wish she would put it to good use instead of wasting it on Sleazy Slade. I have to admit that I found it kind of funny how Gretchen basically questioned her about Lynn bring that youthologist. Also, Lynn seemed to be saying that Alexis is manipulative, etc etc, but she never sees when SHE does wrong in the parenting game. She always blames it on Alexis being a "teenage girl" but at her daughter's age it is the right time to help build character and Lynn is severely lacking in that.

and from published reports they didn't seek her out. She put herself in every possible position to interact with the housewives to gain a spot on the show.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised that Gretchen had that kind of an education, I wish she would put it to good use instead of wasting it on Sleazy Slade. At that point in the show everyone was talking at once but this is what I heard. Vicki said her son also had a psychology degree. Gretchen said she had a psychology degree with an emphasis on early childhood development. Gretchen said the "youthologist", who by the way is childless, has a degree in sociology and an interest in women's studies. I thought Gretchen made a valid point that if her concerns for Alexis are invalid merely because she is not a parent, why would Lynne hire someone that is also lacking the qualification of being a parent.

Lynne is seriously delusional about the reality of what is going on with her two daughters. I'm with Alexis, take her home, confiscate her stuff, ground her indefinitely, let her know who the sheriff is in town. Not one of those ladies is even believing anything Lynne says (all of them shaking their heads) and I don't know why the gals that are so confrontational normally, won't call her out on it. Seems like they'd rather focus on "Slethchen" than on something that really matters. Gretchen has shown that she can take care of herself and even Vicki finally commented last night that Gretchen is "a smart girl" when they were discussing her business dealings.

I thought it was big of Gretchen to admit that this might all blow up in her face but for that right now it's what makes her happy.

A little side comment on Alexis and Jim. I know a lot of you guys doubt their sincerity regarding their religion. I did notice that Jim asked Frank right away if Lynne and Frank were going to church to support them through their latest fiasco. This seemed genuine to me. Not saying they are not hugely self-absorbed, but they do talk as if their faith gives them strength and hope.

Here's what I thought about last night's reunion ... first, I thought it was a little boring ... I guess I was expecting more fireworks, as they made me believe from the previews ... but maybe they are saving the fireworks for tonight's part 2 ...

Tamra - I'm disappointed with her because I don't think she should be giving so many details about her relationship with Simon anymore ... she keeps saying she wants to do what's best for her children, yet she keeps talking bad about their father ... whether he is a terrible husband or not, she needs to keep it private between herself, simon & their lawyers now (as should Simon, but I haven't seen him in the press recently) ... doesn't she realize that even though her kids may not be watching her on tv now, these tapes, her magazine interviews, etc., will be around forever so her kids will eventually see them if they wanted to? ... and think about what those poor kids probably hear in school ...

Vicki - she really didn't say too much last night ... maybe tonight's her night ...

Lynn - simply clueless ... I'm so sick of her excuses ... she needs a reality check ... I really hope she leaves the show, but I doubt it since she needs the money and Bravo probably loves her drama ... she is just so delusional ...

Gretchen - I've never been a real fan of Gretchen's but she can be funny sometimes ... I think she had a point when she basically said, if she's making a mistake with Slade, then time will tell and it will be her mistake ... until then, leave them alone and if anyone has an issue with Slade, take it up with him not her ...

Alexis - oh Alexis, she just needs to stop with the "beauty treatments" or whatever she is doing to her face ... she and her husband just so deperately want to be "celebrities" ... I wish Andy had asked her in what capacity she is working for her plastic surgeon ... I betcha she's some kind of spokesperson/model for him ... but would anybody really want to look like her? ...

But it's all just my opinion ... hoping tonight's part 2 is really good ...

On her blog site, there is a link to the plastic surgeon's website (cosmeticare, I think) and it says she is a Beauty Consultant and prospective patients can book an appointment with her to discuss their options. AWESOME!

As far as Alexis' religion goes, I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she is trying to present it as if they are active in their church. But did you notice that when they televised them going to church, she did not know which nursery room her kids went in? That was a sign to me that they had not attended in a LONG time.

In my opinion, they were so busy slaying Gretchen's relationship with Slade and not seeing that those girls need something in their life. Gretchen, for all her faults, is probably my favorite because she actually does step it up when confronted. Vicki was saying "Oh I don't remember saying that" umm...it's on tape. Tamra, for all that I admire in her, and Vicki seemed to be talking the most trash. Gretchen at least owns up to what she says and I was impressed to see her tell everyone about her and and Slade.

Here are my thoughts about last night:

Vicki- her history with Gretchen suggests that she hates Slade more than she really is worried about their relationship. She is not looking out for Gretchen and her "concerns" are not genuine.

Gretchen- she actually appeared stable and comfortable in her own skin. She was quite reasonable about her relationship with Slade, and didn't go to his defense when the accusations were made. She could have also made comments about Tamra's infidelity rumors and she chose to move on.

Lynn- clueless about her parenting....I wonder if she is still taking her "happy pills" from the face lift because she is just so out there...

Alexis- she is drama central and is there to stir up trouble. She is trying to be a Christian and at the same time she is so superficial and fake.

Tamra- my heart brakes for her children. I still think that she would have let Simon order her around if he was making good money. Now she says money doesn't matter, but that's because she doesn't have any...

Overall the show was quite boring, the fact that the host was asking so many questions about Gretchen's investments etc. was tacky and not interesting to me. Hopefully part 2 with the guys is better...

Vicki: BIG trouble maker! She is definatley a hard worker but is extremely judgemental!! She needs to stay out of Tamra's personal business. Can't imagine she will do another season.

Tamra: I never liked her before this year. I felt bad for her this year. Simon is an ******!

Alexis: Rediculous!! Total hypocrite!

Gretchen: Love her! Always have! Kind of wish she didn't hook up with Slade but hope she's happy!

Lynn: CLUELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can she not notice that her underage daughters are drinking in the same limo that you're riding in!! HELLO!!!!!! She needs to stop being "The cool Mom" and get a grip on reality! Those girls need a good grounding!! They are spoiled little brats who are going to turn into spoiled adults and that is NEVER good!! Get a clue Lynn!
