Just a few observations from last night. Does anyone notice that Lynne's house just seems bare? No pictures on walls or "stuff" out and about. It's almost like living in a hotel room. Also, the car keys on the counter top. They looked like they were car rental keys with the plastic key ring.

And her face. Looks like one side is tighter than the other. Her right side looks like it's drooping. But, that could be part of the healing process. I dont' know, I've never had facial surgery.

Plus, is it just me or does her husband seem stoned all the time? He just looks like he's off on another planet.

Yes, the Psychic was dead on. Wow! Funny how none of them really wanted to agree with him though.

I do have to laugh that Alexis' husband has never changed a diaper. I also think he's never really interacted with the kids to begin with. If you saw the excerpts from last week, he's telling a 2 year old that her behaviour is unacceptable and talking to her like she's 12!

I also have to laugh at Slade giving parenting advise. What a hoot!

Looking forward to next week and also to the NYC wives. Looks like there is a lot of fighting going on there now!

I agree. He seems very awkward around his kids.

I think Lynne will feel bad about getting so hard on Gretchen after she sees the episode where Gretchen was actually talking to her daughter. I think in Lynne's mind it went a lot different (because if you just went off of what her daughter said it would seem like Gretchen was being holier-than-thou and manipulative). I know personally, although I had a great relationship with my Mom and we talked about a lot of things there were still things it would've been nice to have an older outside source to be able to talk to. But after seeing how defensive Lynne is, if I was Gretchen, I would just stay out of it in the future. I think it's a little crazy of Lynne to say they have such a great open relationship when just a few episodes ago they were getting a "teen counselor" in to get their daughters to communicate and I don't in any way think Gretchen was trying to say that Lynne wasn't doing a good job as a parent by offering an ear if Alexa wanted to talk.

Next week looks interesting with Alexis telling her friend to back off of her husband .

Who does grown up sleepovers? I don't mind going over someone's house for dinner/games but at the end of the night I want to be in my own bed (unless it's out of town visiting a friend). You think Vicki would've gone to anyone else's house for a sleepover?

I wish Slade would cut his hair and shave.

I started to watch the "After Show" thing with Andy but thought that what Andy read about what Simon posted on his facebook wall and Tamra's response was all she was going to talk about it. He texted Andy?! I need to find the after show online!

Well, from my fractured memory, I think Lynn's family has been evicted from at least two residences? Maybe they just really don't own anything... Plus, there was that million-dollar judgement issued against Lynn + her (stupified? drug-addled?) DH just last month for some business dealings. Apparently the family also has a history of completely TRASHING the places they rent. And I know what you mean about Lynn's face. She does kind of hold her head up oddly, almost like she's trying to squint without squinting plus she also doesn't move her head independently of her neck - she moves her neck/head almost as if the area has been injured.

And I still say that girl threw Gretchen under the bus. She knew what she was doing, though, 'girlie' wanted to play her mother. Does anyone else think that she could have some kind of personality disorder or something similar?

Yes, absolutely! I was thinking that after seeing last week's episode. Something is definitely "off" about Alexa. I'm not sure to what degree but she is definitely a troubled girl.

I thought it was funny when Lynn said she was "psychic" too. Psycho maybe! Something is up with her husband too. Oh my! What a pair! Did you notice in the preview for next week.....they are concerned about Alexa when she apparently doesn't come home or answer her cell. I think Gretchen was truly trying to help, but Slade should not have opened his mouth.

I can't believe Lynne and her DH think they're "good" parents with all the problems they've had with their kids. They knew they were having problems with the "teen whisperer" or whoever it was. What ever happened with that?? I think Vicki is my favorite - maybe because I can actually relate to her with my working all the time and doing whatever I can for my kids to give them what I "missed out" on? (can you say 5 Disney trips in like 15 months last year???) I just don't get Tamara or Gretchen and the new housewife does nothing but go the the gym, spa and parties! The DHs/BFs are creepy as ever this season. There's not a one of them I would take - well, maybe the money but not the hubby!

I always got the impression from Kim Richards' acting roles (Nanny and the Professor, Escape to Witch Mountain, etc) that she would be nice in real life. Ofcourse those roles were a long time ago. I don't think I have seen any of her recent stuff. I don't remember Kyle (ER, Little House, etc) at all.
I'm sure I will be adding this show to my TIVO list too!

"Good parents" keep a roof over their kids heads, or at least do everything in their power to do so. They live within their means and don't spend their money on frivolous things when they are being sued, being evicted, etc. No wonder their kids are messed up.

One does not supply stability for their children when the kids don't know from one day to the next if they will still be living in the same place. Oh, but at least the youngest DD has a nice car in which to live if things get that bad.

I am starting to feel bad for Tamra. I think she has a lot of guilt and anguish about how her oldest son was turning out. It does seem he is starting to straighten out though and becoming serious about work and realationships, I just hope he continues on that path.

I just can't warm up to Alexis, there is something "holier than thou" about her, but she seems like such a fake.

I don't like Slade too much, I think he was out of line scolding Lynn. Regardless of Lynn's situation or parenting, I did not think he had any business talking to her like that. I did not watch the season with Jo, so I am not familer with him.

The psychic was dead-on, but all that info could have been gathered on the internet.
