I'm like flustered at the moment being I walked in the house and wanted to put a half hour of TV on while eating and my sister makes a fuss about "how rude I am" because she wants to study. Well for one, my house has three floors, she has the ENTIRE basement to herself though insists on taking over the entire second floor (living room, dinging room, and kitchen). We're not allowed to talk, watch TV, etc because she has to study? I ask her to go in her room but she doesnt feel comfortable studying down there so she forces everyone to silence and apparently this doesnt phase my family? I hate living like this!

So i sat down and i told her I plan on watching Hannah Montana for a half hour and she FLIPPED OUT ON ME telling me how rude and selfish I am! UMM HELLO! She's hugging the ENTIRE SECOND FLOOR OF THE HOUSE! And she complains that it's a show she enjoys too so it would distract her. Well she's sitting in the ONE SEAT in the dining room that faces the living room's TV. None of the other seats show the living room, but she won't go somewhere else? HOW AM I WRONG!? ONE HALF HOUR TV SHOW! and I kept it low so it wouldn't bother her and I turn and she's WATCHING IT.

I'm sorry...but I dont know how to....and its funny because that's the same in my house (but only with my mother). She only wants Christian music to be playing, but my family (I, especially) listen to the radio and the songs on my iPod (non-Christian.....but mainly Disney)

hey I understand the whole christian music thing, been there, went to catholic school for 6 years!! My family isnt crazy religious either. Hope & "Wish upon a star"!! for those folders I'm sure we will get them unless I die waiting hahaha. Obviously Younger siblings are obnoxious think of it as training for Disney, smile and be helpful hahahaha. do what u want to do (within reason) and just be you. thats all i can give advice on lol. DISNEY HERE WE COME CANT WAIT TO LEAVE HOME!!!!!

I went to Catholic school for 10 years, woo! I actually am the only one who listens to religious music in my house, ha ha. There is a Christian rock band called Starfield that I L O V E. I'm not really into Catholic church-y music, though. And aside from the above stated band, I listen to alllll kinds of music (Disney, musicals, country, hip hop.. etc, etc..)

I guess I am lucky because my whole family is Catholic, but I tend to feel more non-denominational Christian (which is the kind of church I go to and love), and that is okay with them.

I so ridiculously lost being I grew up in this very good neighborhood and the kids weren't ever too bad and all...to the real world. I seriously scared shizless my freshmen year that I was gonna get beaten up! One girl wanted to because she didn't like the friend i made....WHO DOES THAT?!

Also thanks to my family I cant stand Carrie Underwood. I use to love her but seriously that's all that's EVER playing in my house/car/etc

It's funny because sort of the opposite happened to me with schools.. In grade 10 I switched from Catholic to public and my public school has LESS corruption than my Catholic school had. The only thing I missed about my Catholic school was the uniforms. Not having to pick clothes every morning was nice, I liked it.

My family listens to a lot of oldies. Like the Beatles and things like that. Although my mom has recently taken a liking to Beyonce, of all people. She likes to dance along to "Single Ladies" It is HILARIOUS.

I go to a non-denominational church....and I absolutely LOVE it there!!! And I also love listening to contemporary gospel (my mother doesn't mind..as long as I'm still getting the Word lol)

YAY! My church rocks! I'm actually kind of sad to leave it, if I go to Florida. I will have to find one down there, I guess.

I THINK starfield might be on my ipod lol. My friend went to Creation and got me this itunes list of christian rock. I really like Flyleaf though and Kurios is pretty good too!

It's so funny because I hated uniforms growing up and then when I worked at Sam's Club i wanted a uniform so I dint have to worry about what I wore the next day because I tended to rewear clothes so I dint destroy my other clothes with food.

My mom and sister listen to country and gospel. Though my dad raised me on classic rock like the Beatles, Billy Joel, Beegees, Eagles, etc. My dad's favorite song these days though is like Simple Plan's "Welcome to my Life" - I think it's Simple Plan haha and some rap song that he likes to laugh at

LoL! Two of my friends were huge fans of Kurios! I saw Checkguage (Kurios's spawn band after Kurious broke up...though now Checkguage broke up!) live awhile back and I have a shirt somewhere from the concert!

I'm quite the opposite, I had 9 years of Catholic school and worked for six HORRIBLE months at a Christian bakery and those pretty much took the appreciation for Christian music right out of me. And one of the girls that I live with (at college, not Disney) really won't listen to much besides that. I probably just have bad memories connected with it.

I more than sympathize when it comes to annoying younger siblings, though! My little sister (not really little, she just turned 18) has always been a gigantic brat. She expects my parents and I to to her.

I guess my rant for today will be that I'm angry because my computer is infected with a bad virus. It's not really affecting files or anything, but it disarms my firewall/security system so that my computer will be vulnerable to whatever tries to attack. I've been doing countless scans over the last couple of days to try and get rid of it, and am hopefully making some progress.

ooooo wow I totally understand the virus, hopefully you can get it fixed. I had some great free software that got rid of EVERYTHING but it's on my computer at home, so I can't remember it, if I do I'll let you know, I hope ur comp. feels better!!! as for christian music, I love pretty much any music, I'm not really into "Church" music, but if it's upbeat, or makes me want to dance, then I can love it. I don't usually pick a certain genre, theres just so much to appreciate!! Right now I'm more on a Disney streak tho (which is kind of my life story hahahaha). I'm a congregationalist fyi, a form of protestant, Idk if anyone has seen those United Church of Christ adds , with the comma, "Never place a period where God has placed a comma" , or "God is still speaking," (notice the comma lol). figured I'd add my religious background as others have.
P.S. I also LOVE a good rant every now and then, keeps me sane, like WHY WON'T DISNEY SPEED UP MY LETTER AND JUST LET ME KNOW NOW!!!! lol
