Target setting day - The day you set targets for the year, like "be more punctual" or "do my homework when I get it" and so on. It's like a New Years resolution, but it's not.
Form tutor - Well, we're all separated into groups, which are the forms. The tutors are the teachers who lead over those groups, I guess.
Register time - You know when the teacher goes through the list of people in the class, and you have to say if you're present or not. It's that.
Waitrose cafe - Well, Waitrose is a fancy food store, and there's a cafe in some of them.
John Lewis - A fancy shop that sells clothes, electronics, tupperware, mirror, lamps, etc. In a few stores, they also have a Waitrose, which I guess is because they're both owned by the same company.

Ah. That makes sense.
So Resolutions, Head Teacher, Attendence, fancy cafe, clothing store.

We would sing hymns everytime we had an assembly, which was Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We still have a few hymn books around the house. I think the school favourite hymn was the harvest song. I found it a few months ago:

At least I have gotten a lot of time to write more of my novel. I'm at the end of the beginning. That made no sense... but I'm almost done writing the start of the book... of course the start of this book is like seven chapters long... but sometimes it takes a while to get to the action-y parts.

So Beth doesn't love Laurence... but Laurence loves Jo. Jo doesn't love Laurence. But now Laurence is going abroad and will see Amy. And hopefully him and Amy will fall in love.

I don't hate snow! I just don't like too much of it, I can't go anywhere. Because, I want to get these stupid exams over with and I want to see my friends!

I figure it's probably much cleaner and nicer there now, since this book was written long ago and takes place even longer ago. Around the Revolutionary war.
