Random fact: I once spelled honor "honour" on a history test in 7th grade and nearly got points marked off for it, instead my teacher circled it and requested I use American spelling

Dunno. Philosopher's stone makes SO much more sense, myth wise, but I guess it wouldn't have clicked well with the kids over here.

Philosopher sounds boring and adult (well, not to me, but the avg. child/tween/teen), and Sorcerer reflects the fact the book's filled with wizards? No idea.

There's a girl from England at my school and she makes me laugh, because she has your average midwest American accent like 90% of the time, but put her on the phone with her "mum" and it's like..wooaah awesome.

My best friend wishes she were British.. She's convinced she'll end up in a countryside castle xD
