I just watched his "Last Lecture"
He was a disney imagineer.
He talked about achieving his childhood dreams. He had three tumors in his liver and in July 2007 the doctors said he had 3-6 months left to live. He lived until July 25, 2008.
It was a great lecture, very upbeat. Still sad.
