You're looking at the new OWNER OF THE NEW YORK YANKEES!
I am not even kidding you
In business class, we had to pick a place/team/company to be the owner of
I picked the Yankees of course. I was actually planning on doing WDW, but somebody picked that before me.
But now, I've got to do all this research on the Yankees (which isn't bad, it's fun!) and then tomorrow in class we're having a big disscussion about why our companies are better than their rivals (Yankees vs. Red Sox, Disney vs. Universal, Nickelodian vs. Disney Channel, etc.)
I've already got my first two paragraphs of my speech done:
"Hello, I'm Sara *last name* and I'm the owner of the New York Yankees. Only the best baseball team in the world. I'm here today to inform you all on why the New York Yankees are not only the best baseball team, but why we are better than the Boston Red Sox.
We're the team that has those well known baseball players; Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Nick Swisher, Mark Teixeira, Jorge Posada, and Robinson Cano. We've won 27 World Series titles, the most of any baseball team. And of course, our rivals are the Boston Red Sox. Now, there's no question about it, of course we're better than them. Look at the statistics, look at our players, look at our players paychecks- haha. We've come out on top, and we've realized they are sick of loosing to us. But, their competition makes it all the more fun. Trying to come out ahead of them in the end, drives our players further, and they play the game harder. Who wants to win against that... team."
