This was the headline from the story about the flooding here in NYC that was in the Daily News today. We had somewhere in the vicinity of 3.77" of rain in a few hours and it made a mess of the subway system. Most trains had significant delays, some flooded and when the electric rails get wet....well you know what can happen. Getting to work yesterday morning was a nightmare and I for one was soaked to the skin before I got to the end of my block. Although the situation was not pleasant, the headline made me smile........

I got caught in a downpour last time I was in NYC researching. I was wearing a white linen skirt and got soaked just from walking one block! Not a pretty sight!
