Ontological paradoxes are so confusing D-:

An example is a man recieves plans to build a time machine from an older version of himself on his 30th birthday. After building the time machine, he goes back in time to his 30th birthday to give his younger self the plans.

That means that the plans for the time machine were never actually invented, because of the infinate loop it creates means that the plans were never given to them at any other time...

It gets more confusing when the object is actually already made. Say someone locked themselves out of the house, then their future self gives him the keys to get into the house. When he gets inside, he takes the keys on the table and goes back in time to give himself the keys to get into the house. What happens to the keys, since the keys must be ageless or otherwise at some point in the loop, the keys will age so much, that they'll break causing the loop to break, and a new timeline occurs, changing the future...
