The quest for sesame bagels!

What is it with the grocery stores in the Disney area and bagel choices? Sesame is probably the most popular type of bagel, but for some reason, they cannot be found in the Orlando area grocery stores.

I have visited several grocery stores myself and had four different grocery delivery services over the years shop for me. One of the delivery services said that a Winn-Dixie had a sign for sesame bagels in their bakery area, but no bagels in the bin. In the end, she went to an Einstein Brothers Bagels to get sesame bagels for me. All other attempts at sesame bagels have failed. Even in the West Palm Beach area grocery stores, I could not find sesame bagels.

So...what gives? Why are sesame bagels not available in grocery stores? What does Florida have against sesame bagels?

We're (my wife and I) are about 90% sure they have them at the Super Target out on 192. I don't eat them but my wife and DD do and Donna says she's pretty sure they have at least gotten sesames in the assortments they have gotten there time and again.

Even if the grocery store bakery doesn't have sesame bagels, I'd think you could find them in the bread aisle with the other packaged bagels. That's weird to not have them at all. I prefer poppy seed or an everything bagel. We usually find a good assortment at Publix.

I have looked in the bakery, the bread aisle, and the frozen section at multiple stores including Publix, Winn-Dixie, and Walmart. I have never seen sesame. Two of the shopping services I used looked at multiple stores while shopping for others. As I said, one said she saw a bin at a Winn-Dixie, but no bagels in the bin.

I find it strange that it is so difficult to find a sesame bagel at a grocery store in the area.
