The Pursuit of Disney Magic (June 7-14, 2008) ~ UPDATED 9/30 pg. 191

TOTALLY!!! ;) ;) It's like receiving manna from the heavens!!! You can't upset the heavens--I don't even want to think how that might upset your chances for a visit from the Dream Squad!!!

I don't care what Charles tries to tell you--he is a Disneyholic just like the rest of us! HE'S A CLOSET DISNEYHOLIC!!!!!:rotfl: :lmao:

Oh, I don't want to upset my chances with the Dream Squad! :scared: ;)

He is a closet Disneyholic -- one day he might admit it! :lmao:

Voice of reason with Disney? Nope...the only two reasons I'm not at WDW more is time and money. You have the time and now you have the money.

I was exactly thinking 6am was kinda late...we have to be a the airport before 6am when we fly out. I'm thinking Saturday night at POP...but it might be a good chance to check out an off site hotel like the Gaylord Palms or the Marriot that has the pirate themed pool area.

You'll get into Orlando at about 2pm....check in at hotel...pool time and relax before/after getting into said room. OK now I have to go back and look at your plans for the week to come up with something for Saturday night.

This is fun....be right back!

You're the best!!! :goodvibes

I found a couple funny things in your "official itinerary"

Wednesday, June 11
Typhoon Lagoon (first time there -- not sure what to do)
I think you have that one covered now....any thoughts of switching to Blizzard Beach now?

Saturday, June 14
This is our departure day. I am hoping to squeeze in one more park visit or maybe convince DH to stay an extra night.
That's a little spooky!

It's like when you find a 20 dollar bill in the pocket of your winter jacket from last year!

Exactly!

Say you are going to do it!! An extra night at POFQ! I am so jealous. You can unpack slowly and swim or stroll along the river and watch the boats going to DTD. Walk over to Riverside and explore the gardens. You are going to have such a wonderful time. It is not right for me to be this jealous!:thumbsup2

Don't be jealous -- because I am jealous of you getting there before me! :rotfl:

Oh, you naughty thing, you!;)

Seriously, book it. I would so add on an extra night.

Funds you didn't know you would have? Check.

Time to get down to DisneyWorld a day early? Check.

Extra memories to do whatever you want with the fam? Priceless.:thumbsup2

And we are all just crazy to get down there! The air is charged around here with anticipation!

That's a little spooky!

Amazing how things change, isn't it?

Nah, we aren't going to do any water parks this time unless we get really bored. That's funny, isn't it??? :rotfl2:

You can see that it's been in the back of my mind for awhile! I had forgotten that I wrote that though.

OK...looks like we have from 5/6pm to 9pm Saturday night...don't want to rush and you'll want a good nights sleep.

I was thinking either Downtown Dinsey or the Boardwalk. I'm not a huge fan of DDT on a weekend night...too busy and we want relaxing right? So I suggest the Boardwalk area....I know...big surprise since that's what we do every trip every first night. But I like it for the boardwalk games, the roving entertainers, the great benches, surrey bikes...blah blah blah. If you want to eat there you have so many choices. I'm thinking Beaches & Cream will be too long of a wait....how 'bout Cape May buffet? Or maybe even that place in the Dolphin that I found out about "The Fountain" (menu like B&C). Or you can just nosh around Cresent Lake...get sandwiches at the Boardwalk Bakery....ice cream at Seashore Sweets...Spoodles has a pizza window.
And Fantasia Gardens is in walking distance if you want to play a round of mini golf.

Can I go too???

Ah! I totally missed your single digit mark! I gotta bring in some bananas to fix that mistake!

Anyways, to answer your question from earlier (too lazy to quote sorry)
Finals will be over on Thursday, which gives me a nice full day to pack, plan, sleep. whatever.

Love the idea of going early! We're flying in so we were planning on hitting DtD and Boardwalk, because we've only been to the movie theater on DtD, and we love the Boardwalk.

So is it official? Or are you still just speculating?

So....have you booked it yet?? ::yes::

Not yet -- I think I will sleep on it -- or maybe just watch the clock tick ever closer to the 10:00 mark and then suddenly make the call. According to the website, they have a standard view room available (which is what we need so that they don't move us the next day), and I don't want it to disappear!

You have definitely earned your spot on our trip! :goodvibes

Boardwalk sounds wonderful! I hadn't even thought of that even though I should have seeing as how you and stagemomx3 have mentioned it before. That would be the perfect start to our vacation!!! Not to mention, mini golf sounds fun!!!

Thanks so much!!! You should be a travel planner! :thumbsup2

You are in the homestretch!!!

I am waffling back and forth -- which is what I always do -- I really want to book it, but then I think things like -- do I even have enough clothes for 8 days instead of 7?

You wear non-vacation clothes for the ride down...then just change for the evening....air them out and wear them again later in the week.

Sorry...but for very excuse you come up with I will shoot it down.

I won't even try to compete...

We all know I will be booking by day end, don't we? ;)

Are you crazy? Why haven't you booked it? I think your father in law had direct inspiration that you needed to leave a day earlier!!::yes::

:hyper: :hyper: do it, do it, do it........:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Alright, CP. I'm watching Pirates 2 and by the next commercial break, I expect to see some news here! :rotfl2:

JK! But seriously, book it.

You know you want to.

And you just posted to the best group of Disney enablers you'll ever find. :goodvibes

CP --- On the History Channel right now there is "Indiana Jones: The Ultimate Quest." It's talking about the real life history behind the movies, it just started and it's on for two hours. It's interesting so far! :thumbsup2

You might as well just book it now so we can all sleep easier. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: I have decided I am going to sleep on it, just to make sure that it isn't completely demented.

I definitely think it is a sign of some sort! ;)

How exciting!!! Another night! You received a dream already!

Do it!

I think I will in the morning -- if I don't come to my senses.

You guys are the best group of Disney enablers EVER! :goodvibes

I do want to, but it makes me feel full of virtue to wait a night and make sure I feel the same way in the morning!

That does sound cool -- too bad that Connor commandeers the television on Saturday nights to watch Naruto :(. Hopefully they will repeat it.

Does Connor want to shop in Japan at Epcot for all their Naruto stuff?

:rotfl2:

Connor is totally hooked and even got the Naruto video game for Christmas. It's his favorite show EVER.

Yes, all I have heard about from him is how he can't wait to go shop in Japan. That and eating in Japan at Teppan Edo.

He currently has all the lights off in the living room and when I walked through and said something to him, he responded with, "Shhhh, Aruchimaro (that is probably spelled wrong) might be near." :confused3
