The Pursuit of Disney Magic (June 7-14, 2008) ~ UPDATED 9/30 pg. 191

.......... I don't think she picked up on them either.

right?! I STILL catch new ones every time I see it! I can't believe all the stuff I was so naive to! That's a good thing though....

But I have to laugh because when I was singing, "She got down in the sa-a-and" I just thought she was dancing! :rotfl2:

I know it!!! How great is that??? :hyper:

Charles tried to do the whole, "Where will we be in Disney?" game this morning. Bless his heart, he's trying, but I didn't have enough coffee in me so I gave him a withering look and said, "Well, a week from today we will be packing, and two weeks from today we will be headed home." Now that I am more awake I find it funny that he did that.

I've just had a good chuckle over the whole grease conversation! I remember watching ito yearly when it was on tv............and then the magic summer that grease 2 came out. I think I was 11 or 12 and my older sisters and I recorded it off of cable (we had 1 cable station!) and would watch it at least twice a day.

Well, Gease 2 came on about 2 years ago while I was in Minnesota helping my sister in law who had just had surgery..................let's just say we were laughing hysterically as I repeadedly said "I don't remember it being this dirty"! I can't believe my mom let us watch it!!

So NOT what I was thinking when I read The One Hand Dance! :hyper:

OMG!!!!! You had me ROLLING with LAUGHTER!!!!!! TOO, TOO FUNNY!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Good Morning Jackie and everyone else!!! Happy 8 Days!!!! We are doing the less than ONE WEEK dance!!!! I don't know if I can celebrate the ONE HAND DANCE anymore though--my brain can't get the OTHER image out of my head!!!!;) ;)

I don't know why my mom let me watch it over and over again, either! She must have known that all of it was going right over my head!

8 Days and I have been having "crazy thoughts" all day. I will post an update about it.

Crazy thoughts? Have hit that point where you are sad its almost over when it hasn't even started yet? I *hate* when that happens, and it does for me every time!

You are so close, think about how wonderfully close you are to breathing in that Disney air!

Allyson :)

So, you knew I had to go a little nutty at some point before the whole Disney trip, right? Well, it happened today.

Charles's dad was super nice and sent money to the kids and us for our vacation. So, I totally wasn't expecting it and as I sat there looking at the check, I had the craziest thought:

We could drive down Saturday instead of Sunday. Obviously, our tickets, dining plan, etc. can't be used until Sunday, but if I added a night to the room (which would really be a separate reservation) we could get settled, unpacked, and relax that first night. Then, Sunday morning we could be up bright and early headed to DHS for Star Wars Weekends.

It's crazy, right? I should just stick with the original plan, right? I shouldn't rock the boat at this point, right?

Or should I??? ;)

I have had those thoughts today, too!

We went to the pool this afternoon and something about the chlorine, the sunscreen, and the smell of summer reminded me of Disney, and I don't know how I am going to last until next Sunday!!!

Ah Hello??? Rock the boat??? I hope that ressie is made for Saturday night by now!
How long of a drive is it? I can whip you up a Saturday game plan in about 20minutes...just give me the details :moped:

:lmao: And I thought you would be my voice of reason, Heidi! :lmao:

It is a 7 and a half hour drive for us. :goodvibes We usually leave pretty early in the morning, around 6:00.

I don't even THINK you need to honestly ask me what I would do?!?!?!?! Ok, maybe you should have a little family conference first to clear it with everyone else--BUT GAME ON!!! Who WOULDN'T want to get there a little early?!!?!??!?! GO JACKIE GO! GO JACKIE GO!

OH--I am SUCH a BAD INFLUENCE!!!!! BUT then again, I am not the type to leave "well enough alone!" ;o) Keep me posted!

When I asked Charles about it, he was all for it. He's a bad influence, too! :lmao:

And really, since the money from my dear, dear, dear FIL wasn't even figured into the budget, it's almost like it is meant to be, right? ;)

TOTALLY!!! ;) ;) It's like receiving manna from the heavens!!! You can't upset the heavens--I don't even want to think how that might upset your chances for a visit from the Dream Squad!!!

I don't care what Charles tries to tell you--he is a Disneyholic just like the rest of us! HE'S A CLOSET DISNEYHOLIC!!!!!:rotfl: :lmao:

Voice of reason with Disney? Nope...the only two reasons I'm not at WDW more is time and money. You have the time and now you have the money.

I was exactly thinking 6am was kinda late...we have to be a the airport before 6am when we fly out. I'm thinking Saturday night at POP...but it might be a good chance to check out an off site hotel like the Gaylord Palms or the Marriot that has the pirate themed pool area.

You'll get into Orlando at about 2pm....check in at hotel...pool time and relax before/after getting into said room. OK now I have to go back and look at your plans for the week to come up with something for Saturday night.

This is fun....be right back!

It's like when you find a 20 dollar bill in the pocket of your winter jacket from last year!

Say you are going to do it!! An extra night at POFQ! I am so jealous. You can unpack slowly and swim or stroll along the river and watch the boats going to DTD. Walk over to Riverside and explore the gardens. You are going to have such a wonderful time. It is not right for me to be this jealous!:thumbsup2

Oh, you naughty thing, you!;)

Seriously, book it. I would so add on an extra night.

Funds you didn't know you would have? Check.

Time to get down to DisneyWorld a day early? Check.

Extra memories to do whatever you want with the fam? Priceless.:thumbsup2
