I never thought of tip envelopes either, but I have been spending LOTS of time over on the DISign board -- they have such clever ideas.
Thanks for loving the journals and activity books -- they were fun to make.
As for the countdown calendar, I have several ideas percolating (like an old-fashioned coffee pot) -- haven't come up with anything concrete yet. My big thing right now is trying to decide when to start it. I just don't know

.
Love the journals? Did you create the actual notebook, or did you just create the covers? How many pages are the activity booklets you made? The DISign board is truly addictive, and I can't wait until I attempt to create a t-shirt. THAT should be interesting.
Doesn't it make you suspicious when it's TOO easy to talk DH into something?
Thanks! The notebooks are just plain composition books that I covered with all the scrapbooking paper, stickers, and ribbons. They were super fun!
I think the activity books ended up being about thirty pages each -- there are coloring pages, mazes, word searches, Disney trivia, some word puzzles -- I found a sticky on the DISign board, and basically printed off all the stuff I could find. Hopefully, it will keep my two pretty busy on the drive down.
I keep wondering what DH is going to say he wants. Of course, he will preface it by saying, "I agreed to go on a
Disney cruise."
Ok I haven't made it to the end yet, but I love this pretrip report! My husband and I went to college in Charleston (where we met) and honeymooned there (bed and breakfast on the battery)! We have two children in middle school and I feel your pain, sister! (feel the love too!)
Your picture itinerary is awesome! What a great idea!
We will be there the same time you are! We can't wait! Soon as school is out, we are on the road!
Hope this wasn't too random! Looking forward to hearing more plans!!

! Hurray, a fellow Charleston lover! Did you and DH go to the College of Charleston -- I went there for two years (Go Cougars!), but then finished my degree at Kennesaw State University here in Georgia (went from being a Cougar to an Owl

). Did you stay at Two Meeting Street Inn for your honeymoon? Love that place, but we always end up staying with my best friend from high school (the one that snuck off with me to WDW) when we visit.
Are you staying at POFQ, too? I think I love it so much because it has the same feel to the architecture and grounds as Charleston. I will have to go read your TRs --where's your PTR?

Two middle schoolers at one time??? You deserve an award! Love 'em to death, but there are some days those 75 minutes don't go fast enough. Luckily, it's spring and that's when I love them the most. The week before Christmas vacation? Not so much.
