...is there are too many good restaurants to pick from! how am i supposed to make up my mind? argh! :confused3

I'm in the same boat. We are planning to be in the park 2 days and it is also going to be F&W time. I think one night we will do Akershaus but lost on the second day.

Yes indeed! MY DH enjoys the experience of a daily TS on our WDW trips so of course, Epcot is his favorite park.

Here's a thought, do pick one TS you really want to enjoy & book it for lunch. Then instead of doing TS dinner, you can snack around the world showcase to share sample's of the many available offerings at the counter service &/or snack places. That way you don't have to totally make up your mind until you're there & enjoy what smells &/or sounds good :goodvibes

We snack around the world b/c of this. It helps us get a taste of each country and then pick one or two or sometimes three (thank-you Park Hopper) TS each trip.

Sometimes we also split a few QS meals from different countries to get a taste as well.

it is simple for us - we eat at Lotus Blossom - austic son insist on that one (we had a meltdown on us stopping to get sushi for DH & me before going to LB)

I would love to have to pick too - good luck

Bless his heart :lovestruc he must really like LB :rotfl: I hope he's agreeable to mom & dad snacking around the world after he gets his LB fix :goodvibes

He even eats all of the desserts (including brother's)

We also have to eat at the Asia quick service at AK

We didn't find the Asia foods at MK or DHS - I'm not looking either ;)

And this combined with there aren't that great or as many options at MK, DHS, or AK is one of the reasons we always get park hoppers. No matter what park we're at...we end up at Epcot for dinner so often. Then it makes it easier to not have to choose between the restaurants. Well, not as much.

Easy solution. Take all the ones you think are good. Pick one at random. You are guaranteed to get one you'll look forward to.

The real problem comes if there aren't any you like, and you still have to pick one.

AGREED!! We end up at Epcot quite often because we like so many of the places. My problem is breaking free of the tried and true, to try new ones. I gave myself a headache trying to keep our favorite restuarants in the mix and fitting in few new ones back in Oct.:rotfl:

This is the reason we get Park Hoppers too. On our upcoming 7 night trip we are planning 5 TS dinners in Epcot.

Yep, I agree with pps. We have had to get the park hoppers that last two years for FD because there were so many places in Epcot that we wanted to eat at. I like the restaurants in AK, too, but we just don't spend as many days in that park to take advantage of most of them. I wish MK had some better TS options.

My DH is super picky, so even though some of the Epcot restaruants sound great to me, he won't try them. We are planning on our Oct trip to be at Epcot at least 3 evenings. My current plan is to one of the days use our TS credit to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then do F&W booths for dinner. The other two nights we are going to do Rose and Crown (which we have done before) and Biergarten (which will be a new one).

I would love to go with a more adventurous eater so I can try some of the others.

yes, that's what we've generally done in the past.

This is me, EVERY time! :rotfl2:
This may, we are finally going to try Teppan Edo. (We always end up at San Angel).
This past december, we finally tried Rose & crown, and next december, hopefully La Hacienda.

Seems like the park hoppers are a great idea! I never really considered this myself because of the extra cost, also for us it's been pretty easy to just do one park for one day. Incase anyone was curious, here is my list of restaurants I can't decide between (both for food and atmosphere):

First Choices:
Le Cellier
Biergarten
Chefs de France
Via Napoli

Second Choices:
Lotus Blossom
Restaurant Marrakesh
Coral Reef (been before, but would go again)
Either Mexican place

gosh, that's pretty much all of them! I'd also go to Rose and Crown just for a pint.
