Are the fp- machines gone from all parks now or just MK?
I *think* they're all gone now, but don't quote me. I haven't been since December when FP- was still in effect.

I think the big problem here with the MB's and FP+ is that Disney rolled out a system that was much too big, in too short of a time period. Not enough testing was done and the CM's aren't properly informed in some cases.

I arrive at WDW in 18 days. I'm going to stay opened minded, until I've experienced the new systems for myself. Although, I have to say, I'm a little nervous. I'm glad it's just me and my husband with no kids this time. I can't imagine dragging them through some of the lines I've seen on Twitter...
29 trips to Disney World and counting...next stop POFQ march 2014
18 days to go!!!

The main complaint of a system can't be that they didn't do enough testing and it was rolled out too soon before testing is even complete, a roll out date is announced and what the details of that rollout will be.
How about it?
Disney announced Magic Band testing last January, 2013 and a year later they pulled the plug on paper FPs. It has been a very slow rollout. It isn't like it was a surprise to everyone. To some, yes, but the info was there.
The problem is people don't want to adapt, plain and simple. They had it one way, got accustomed, don't want to change or adapt or can't and now it is viewed as an inconvenience.

Why did you stop defending "it's still in testing?"
I don't disagree that they've rolled it out slowly, I just disagree that they can forever call it in testing after all the systems they replaced it with are gone.
I think OP was trying to say that it is too fast because clearly last weekend was a failure. It seem like they were not organized at all. DME has too many problems still. I think OP didn't meant it as the time frame but that things are not ready to be fully operational, because they still have too many issues.
I really don't get this. is this what made FP+ great? Because you got to ride 1 attraction without having to be there at rope drop?
Did you ride anything else, or only those that you could get FP+ for?
I'm sorry. I simply don't understand how anyone can think getting less of something than they could have gotten before is better.
The people who like FP+ aren't falling in line with those who dislike it, it's as simple as that. I honestly think some here have the thought that if Disney sees enough negative FP+ posts here, that they'll go back to the old system. That won't happen.
Hopefully they're gone from all the parks soon. Can't get rid of that antiquated technology soon enough! Those machines/areas were such eyesores.

No, you didn't miss anything, but EVERYONE is a guinea pig right now for their "test" that everyone has to use because there's no alternatives.
Haven't tried it yet (This Fall) and I agree with SOA. For people that Parkhop this sucks. The lines aren't why I think it's a failure. I thought it was going to be a failure from the time it was announced. I don't consider myself to be a "half glass empty" type of person. I just consider myself to be knowledgeable enough about WDW and of the way I like to tour the parks to know that it was a lousy system (for me.)
-Tiering.
-Only 3 FP per day.
-FP at only 1 park per day.
Those are the reasons I think the system is lousy.
