Harry and Adriana: They were just arriving. "Is something wrong? Why isn't everyone going into the common room?"

Rose: "That's not good." Yet still she remained level-headed.

Hermione: She grabbed Harry's arm.

Dumbledore: "Dear lady who did this to you?"

Fat Lady: "What a temper he has! It was that Sirius Black!"

Dumbledore: "Everyone, to the Great Hall, please." He told the other heads of house to send their students to the great hall as well.

Adriana: This was not good.

Rose: She went down with the other students. This was a very bad ordeal.

Amelia: She heard students talking as they emerged from different staircases and went back into the great hall. Her face paled more than it already had; she fell into a full-fledged panic. "Not again," she moaned. Moments later Amelia could be seen sitting against the farthest wall, her hands back on her temples, Madam Pomfrey standing over her as she breathed rapidly, muttering at full speed again in between bouts of trying to answer the nurse's questions.

My other students: They piled back into the Great Hall.

McGonagall: She was speaking urgently to a few of the school ghosts.

My Characters: They had all gathered in the great hall. The amount of chaos was tremendous. People were talking. Some were yelling. All of them were running over to their friends, asking what had happened if they weren't in Gryffindor house, or, if they were, talking about what had happened.
Once they had the news, they gasped to themselves, not wanting to believe it. If a murderer had entered Hogwarts, then he would surely be after someone, someone surely named Harry Potter.

 

[The Villianess]

Dumbledore: He made his way through, and everyone could see the torn portrait.

Kathleen: "Oh my."

Sophia: Sophia tried not to gasp in astonishment.

Dumbledore: He moved the tables, provided purple sleeping bags for everyone, put the Head Boy, Head Girl and Prefects in charge, then he locked the students in the Great Hall while he and the teachers searched the castle.

Hamilton: He stuck close to his brother.

Cassiopeia: She wanted to talk to Adriana, but that would bring suspicion down on both of them, and Cassiopeia didn't want to be noticed. She found herself a corner.

Adriana and Harry: They stuck with Ron and Hermione, talking.

Kathleen, Dean and Seamus: They told people what happened when asked and speculated.

Nora: She checked up on her brother, worriedly, and asked him what happened.

Evangeline: For the first time since coming to Hogwarts last month, she was terrified.

Logan: He was pretty freaked out and confused. How did Sirius Black get through the wards?

Fred and George: They were surprised this happened, and knew it wasn't a good time for pranks.

Brendan and Zara: They did their duties as prefects.

Mikhailya: She knew very little about Sirius Black, as she was a muggleborn and Canada, her home country, wasn't very concerned about him, so she stayed with Esmire and Pierson and talked cheerfully with them to help keep them calm.

Imogen: She had no idea how this could have happened, although Hannah Abbott's idea that he could turn himself into a shrub was absolutely ridiculous and it made her roll her eyes.

Corona: She was just trying to ignore the purebloods, because they would have it out for her as usual. The traditionals didn't like her because she was a blood traitor and the blood traitors didn't like her because she was born into the Malfoy family.

Sophia: Sophia was sitting in a corner by herself, overhearing some of the other students' theories. She wasn't really sure what to make of it all.

Shane: While he was concerned that a criminal had entered Hogwarts, he was more concerned about how his "father" was going to react. He tried to think up of possible answers.

Scarletta: She sat with the other Slytherins. She occasionally pointed out that they were likely going to die.

Reece: This wasn't happening.

Mara: Mara sat close to her sister. Reece needed her now more than ever.
