OOC: I'm doing the quote today since I found a funny one, though it might be a little subtle.

"Professor Trelawney behaved almost normally until the very end of Christmas dinner*, two hours later. Full to bursting with Christmas dinner and still wearing their party hats, Harry and Ron got up first from the table and she shrieked loudly.
'My dears! Which of you left his seat first? Which?'
'Dunno,' said Ron, looking uneasily at Harry.
'I doubt it will make much difference,' said Professor McGonagall coldly, 'unless a mad axe-man is waiting outside the doors to slaughter the first into the entrance hall.'
Even Ron laughed. Professor Trelawney looked highly affronted.
'Coming?' Harry said to Hermione.
'No,' Hermione muttered, 'I want a quick word with Professor McGonagall.'
'Probably trying to see if she can take any more classes,' yawned Ron as they made their way into the entrance hall, which was completely devoid of mad axe-men."

Pierson: "Now we need a mandrake. Don't worry, I got permission from Professor Sprout yesterday to use one. She had extras after last year."

Esmire: "Great! If you haven't caught on, it's a healing potion expiramentation. We're attempting at combining a few. I know where to get it, I just might need some help."

Kailey: He expression cleared and she smiled. "Yes I understand now. I was trying to figure out what dittany and wolfsbane had in common, but the mandrake helped figure it out." She found a mandrake, thankfully she probably wouldn't have to re-pot it.

Esmire: "I did," she said excitedly, surprising him. "He said that he had an extra he could spare, that he hasn't seen a potion maker as good as me for sixteen years!" Her eyes brightened at this, it meant a lot.

Lol, I was sitting here trying to figure this out by using the difference of Lily and Esmire in age, and I was getting myself so confused. Funny because I'm usually good with numbers.

Esmire: "I would love to work finding anecdotes to diseases. Snape can be so frustrating, though. Have you noticed he keeps talking about some of the third and fourth years? One of them is really good even for being in such a egotistical house, he says, and he never mentions who, or the house, which obviously isn't Slytherin, or he wouldn't've put it that way, or Hufflepuff, they're too loyal. So it's someone in our house or in Gryffindor. I'd bet probably on the latter, but who knows? They're older, so I could ask them for help!"

Amelia: Amy was with some fellow Ravenclaws ordering butter beer in the Three Broomsticks when it happened. She clutched her forehead, trying to clear the attack.

Random Ravenclaw: She grabbed Amelia and led her to a table, making her sit down.

Amelia: "I'm fine." But her fingers rubbed against her temples, and she very, very lightly mumbled to herself.
