I'm curious what age range other people think this movie would be good for. Its rated a PG.

It was pretty tame. I would think age 13 and up just because its a love story.

It was great by the way - I saw it last weekend. Wouldnt mind seeing it again.

I also just saw it today and loved it. I would also agree with 13+ recommendation because of the love story. It's more mature than Princess Diaries. There were two preteen girls in front of me who during several serious moments in the movie broke out in giggles - I'm guessing it was their way of dealing with it. Interestingly enough, I saw a lot of seniors in the theater - something I rarely see around here.

I just saw it today with 2 of my friends (12, 12, and i'm 13) and it was a great movie. I know that if I was little, I wouldn't wanna sit through kissing so, I'm gunna say like 12-13+, there is nothing wrong with it...just not many littler kids I know want to sit through a 'romance' movie. There was probably a seven year old in front of us and every time they kissed, it was the usual "EWWWW! YUCK! Is it over yet?" haha...

Are there any good movies out there for a 9 year old?

I don't think my niece would be allowed to see that either. The really fusterating part is that i could take my 6 year old niece to see either, and if i was looking for a movie for her i'd likely take her to see scooby doo 2 because she loved the first one, but there is nothing to take the 9 year old to. I really wanted to take her to the prince and me.
