NFL 2025/2026 thread. šŸˆ

After all that. NFC.
Clinched.
Eagles NFC East
Rams, Seahawks, Niners, Bears Playoff spot.
Eliminated Cowboys, Commanders, Giants, Vikings, Falcons Saints, Cardinals.
Bucks. Eliminated from Wild Card. Must win division to make playoffs.

#1 Seed. Teams that control their own destiny.
Seattle. Win out.
San Francisco. Win out.

Teams that need help, in order of least help needed.
Chicago. Win out and have Seattle lose one.

Rams. Win out. Niners must lose one. Seattle must lose one, Bears must lose one. But, Niners play Seattle and the Bears and simultaneously are those teams best chances to lose one. Though a Niners win tonight does not eliminate the Rams, it makes their scenario tougher.

Philadelphia. Win out, Niners must lose to Colts tonight then beat the Bears and Seahawks. Seahawks must also lose to Panthers. Bears must also lose to Lions. Rams must lose to either Cardinals or Falcons.

Niners certainly a few steps closer to being the THIRD team… to not just host the Super Bowl but PLAY A HOME SUPER BOWL… only the LA Rams and TB Bucs did this recently…

The Niners technically haven't but The SB was held in the bay area at Stanford's then bigger stadium when they beat the Dolphins.

Just so you know… YOU DO NOT NEED PEACOCK if you are in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Baltimore. Look at the small print on the bottom of the screen.

UPDATE: The Fox doubleheader is CANCELLED in Nashville. WZTV will be airing paid programming since WTVF-CBS is airing a Titans home game and the team decided to exercise its right to be the only game on local TV. As a result, ALL 1pm ET (12pm in Nashville) kickoffs that are Fox will be available on NFL Sunday Ticket in the Nashville area. The late game is on Fox everywhere including Nashville.

Friendly reminder: the Ravens-Packers game is only being televised on NBC in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Baltimore.
Had family in the Duluth/Superior market that were incensed they couldn't watch the game on broadcast. Sen. Tammy Baldwin has introduced a bill for at least the last ten years to force NFL to require over the air broadcasts of Packer games in every market that reaches Wisconsin. Never goes anywhere, but it's out there. Would be kind of fun to see Minneapolis and Chicago be forced to broadcast every Packer game.

Most of Minnesota would already be getting Vikings games if they received Minneapolis area stations… especially in places like Alexandria and Walker where network stations translate there…

But if it were federal law, the Minneapolis, Duluth and Rochester stations would have to broadcast the Packers games. Most likely they would broadcast on a secondary digital channel when there were conflicts.

I hate that a lot of the big games are only being televised on streaming! A lot of senior citizens and baby boomers, who love football, can't or don't have access to these games. My Mom who is 98 y/o absolutely LOVES football, NFL and college. She obviously can't handle online streaming at her age and is missing out this year. Why can't they show on both venues? If someone is paying for being online and streaming services, they will more than likely watch the games online anyway.
My Mom keeps track of all the up and comers in college who might be snapped up by the NFL. She is amazing! I would complain to the networks but don't know where to do that (and a lot of good that would do except make me feel better).
Anyway, rant is over.....
