The Price is Wrong!!!!!

We have always flown SW from BWI, and your quote is very high unless airline prices have had a giant increase lately. Usually, we can get $79 each way. By the time you add all the fees, it's almost $1000 for our family of five. Last year I checked DING constantly and got $39 each way--what a great deal! SW has a lot of direct flights from BWI. Two hours and you're there!

I think you can get a good deal if you wait a little plus if Southwest flies that route,they usually beat the competition. I would wait.

Flying from BWI to MCO I would definately wait for SouthWest fares to come out. Even without dings out fares were 79$ one way up and back (we got a ding fare back for 59$ which I was pleased with as well) so for the two of us it ended up only being 140$ round trip per person or 280$ total. As long as you book when the fares just release you can normally get fairly low fares on Southwest and then swap those fares for a ding fare to make it even cheaper.

Don't those dings have restrictions such as "only flights for Tuesdays and Thursdays" or something like that? Which would make it impossible for a 10-night stay? Is this right?

BWI is our airport of choice. We have never paid more than $150rt to MCO. As the PP stated, we usually book 3-6 months out. We have found that Airtran and Southwest have the best airfare. Good luck!

I agree. I found it cheaper at Philly this time (both are just as close to me in DE). I was happy with the 175ish pp R/T with airtran in May (southwest was the same). Of course, both are now around 120pp R/T for August 17/22.
