I thought I'd give some random facts about myself as an introduction.
*I'm 27.
*This is my favorite picture of myself at Disney.
*I'm married to Marc. We've been married for about 1 1/2 years.
*Originally from Maine, now living in Massachusetts. I miss Maine a lot but I moved here to be with Marc so it's worth it. Plus my parents live in Southern Maine so we are only about 1 1/2 hours from them so close enough for last minute trips to visit on the weekends.
*My first trip to Disney was when I was 5. We drove down in an RV with my Grandparents, my Uncle, My Parents and my brother. Two days before we left I came down with the chicken pox. The drive home is a complete blur, I think I slept most of the time.
*I have to sleep with a fan on every night.
*Marc & I were married in the same park my parents were married in.
*I have two beautiful kitties. It's hard for me to believe that I've had Sully for 5 1/2 years. He's been with me through a lot of ups and downs.
It's hard to believe he used to be so small!
*We've had Ruby for a little over 2 years. We got her because when I moved in with Marc, Sully was lonely. We used to live with my parents and their two cats and Sully would just meow and meow all the time. Sully & Ruby have a love/hate relationship. Ruby loves to dive bomb Sully but I see them cuddling each other every once in awhile.
*I have a light fixture obsession that developed at Disney in September 2008. I've been known to whip out my cell phone camera in local restaurants.
*I'm one of those Twilight obsessed people. I loved the books and can't wait for New Moon to come out.
*I love History. LOVE it. I get this love from my Dad. One thing I do love about Massachusetts are all the historical sights. I plan on seeing more next year when it's not so cold.
*I had gastric banding surgery on August 26th. So far I have lost 43lbs since July 6th, which is when I enrolled in the Surgical Weight Loss Program. Marc is having his surgery this WEDNESDAY! He's lost 40lbs since joining the program.
*I love to read. If you have any good book suggestions, fire away!
*I'm currently addicted to Sobe Lifewater since I had to give up soda. Yumberry Pomegranate is the best flavor!
*I don't like the movie ET. ET freaks me out.
*I like to make lists.
*I have two favorite Disney Characters. Ariel & Mary Poppins. With Belle closely trailing behind them.
*Ursula is my favorite villain.
*I have one younger brother, Tim. He's married to Samantha and they have a dog named Dylan.
*Jen and I met through the DIS, went to Disney in May together and have become best friends. I'm so grateful for her friendship.
*I don't like loud noise. I can't stand conflicting noise. Like if I'm talking to Marc in the car, I can't have the radio on or at least have to turn it way down.
*I don't cook. I used too and then I moved in with Marc. He loves to cook so I've become completely spoiled and don't even know where everything is in my own kitchen.
Okay, I think that is enough random babblings about me for now.
Not sure if I've posted on your PTR or TR before, but I'm coming out of lurkdom! I've followed ALL of your reports on the DIS. So sad to hear you've had to postpone
another trip. You're a good girl, though, being all responsible like that. I wouldn't be able to restrain myself. I have a saying that I commonly live by (which is probably how I built up so much debt) which is: "Life is short. You could die tomorrow." And it's so true. Life is very short. Unfortunately, money is a huge contributing factor to why we can't live our lives the way we want. Who invented money anyway!?!?!
It fits perfectly with the garden theme because it doesn't go all the way to the ground!
