I received a beautiful postcard from Aussie (I think) of Lymington, England. One of the establishments on the narrow cobbled street offers light lunches, snacks, cornish clotted cream teas and cappuccino and features Edgars Dairy cream products. I wanna go....*she whined in her best whiney voice*

I received 5 cards today from Alaska.

Thank you Carol (aka Aksnopea). Alaska looks absolutely gorgeous. I loved the card of the McKinley Mountain covered with snow. I want to visit.

A card of buildings in Glasgow (and lots of info..thanks for that too), one of Wallace Monument, a Scotland map, beautiful one of Loch Lomond, and one of the Scottish seasons ...that made me laugh because it looks like Washington seasons....WET!!

I'm still waiting to get cards from 2 of my exchanges. I have only recieved an international one. Also I have not heard if my exchanges were received (except for one of them)

I also have not heard from my international exchanges as to whether or not they received their cards, nor have I received any international cards. My first international cards went out about a month ago and the second set went out about 3 weeks ago. Maybe it just takes longer than I thought.

BTW.... Nutsy, I see my cards.

Seems like some postcards are getting lost in the system or damaged.

I know about the damaged side of things, as I just received a postcard from CarolG in Georgia & it was in a sealed plastic bag from Australia Post with a message saying it had been damaged. From what I can see it looks like I was lucky to get it at all. That is one of the problems with postcards being sent on their own without an envelope, they can get caught up in the sorting machines & ripped beyond repair.

Those who are waiting on postcards I have no idea what has happpened to them. 99.9% of people I know have sent their cards off. There are a couple who I haven't heard from in a while & it may well be these who are holding up the works.

I'll send some PM's off & see what gives from there.

How does anyone know who they were supposed to receive cards from? Or from how many persons? I don't have a clue.

I have sent all of mine but it does appear that one card hasn't made it. I'll correct that as soon as I can.

Planogirl.........................for every set of exchanges you sent off you should receive one........so if you sent of 4 then you should by rights receive 4 also.

Does that make sense?

Me too,

Only recieved one lot of postcards out of 4 lots i sent. I also recieved one thank you card. Mine were to be sent in envelopes to me, so they shouldn;t get lost, but i do know that when I was in USA the cards i posted in NY a weeka fter LV, arrived before Las Vegas!!
