okay, if you are thinking of staying in the polynesian, definately stay.
I love the coffee shop by the monorail, and a totally wicked theme so, also you get one stop on the way to the Magic Kingdom. Huge Spacious rooms, and a beautiful theme, the polynesion is the place to stay.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!! We stayed at the Poly for the first time in September and we LOVED it. The WL runs a close second, but the Poly beats it out as our first choice resort . You just can't beat the atmosphere, the monorail convenience, the awesome restaurants, etc. We just love the Poly.

Use the Longhouse gods, but if not, try to get a building near the main one

Isn't that the truth . We are booked at the WL for December (awesome Christmas decorations ), but I'm seriously considering changing to the Poly The only thing is I can get 6 nights at the WL for the cost of only 5 nights at the Poly But when I asked my 2 DSs (it doesn't matter to DH) which they would prefer.....they both said "5 nights at the Poly" So it's VERY TEMPTING But we'd be giving up one night ......but then the WL is beautiful at Christmas time, too ....so I'm torn

We will be at the POLY from August 20th to 31st. We were able to book the bounceback rate when we were at BW last Thanksgiving.

This August will be our 3rd time there. This has become DW favorite resort. (mine too. )

We just got back April 13. It was DW's birthday gift. She knew about it before hand. But i kept telling her that she was in for a big shock at check in.

The only secret i could keep from her was that I upgraded us to the MK view. We had a 3rd floor balcony in Tuvalu. Room #3504.

For the 1st time in her life, she was able to wake up in WDW on her birthday, have a cup of coffee on the balcony, look at the castle, the GF, the CR and the lake. It was perfect.
