I know that this post is better suited for the 'resort forum, but no one answered me when I put it there. Hopefully someone in this forum can help...

My family has always wanted to go to the poly. I went a couple times when I was a kid. Our only family visit was a year ago to Port Orleans Riverside. My kids are 6 and 8.

My question is that given the work being done at the Poly, what does everyone think about going to the resort in March. Will we still get the poly experience or will we feel like we are paying lots of money to stay at a construction site?

Thanks in advance for your opinions....

I know some people in my house aren't too happy about the fountain in the lobby being removed. On out last trip we took about 30 pics and vids of it to remember it.

I have never stayed @ the Poly. Only go when eating @ 'Ohana. Some PP indicate not worth the cost due to construction, closures, etc. I believe this will be a personal choice due to cost of room per night. Are you going just for Poly experience? Then probably not worth cost IMO. If going for monorail, room size, maybe.

To get a feel for what you will experience, check out this site. Tikiman keeps up to date/monthly reports of the Poly with pictures. I hope this helps!!!
