We are heading to WDW in 2 weeks, and I just added a reservation at the Plaza to our MK day. We will have breakfast at CP (DDP), lunch at Comic Ray's (DDP), and then I thought it would be nice to have a sit down dinner that is somewhat light.

Any recommendations at the Plaza?

We had lunch there in January (I think the menu is the same for dinner) -- I had a burger and it was so good. DH had the veggie sandwich with fresh mozzarella cheese and he raved about it. We didn't do desserts off the menu because I had ordered a birthday cake at the podium but I hear the sundaes are great.

The reubens okay and the burgers are decent.

The strawberry chicken salad has always been a great choice for me. :thumbsup2 Very tasty!

It's totally boring but I had one of the best burgers I've had in WDW at The Plaza... fries are really good too!

When we were there in December, I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and my DBF got the Cheese Steak Sandwich. We split them and they were both yummy. The cheese steak was a little better though.

I think this salad is unbelievable! Chicken , strawberries, over beautiful fresh greens in a white balsamic vinagrette. I think it is one of the best salds I've ever had!

Actually the best DINNER they have there is the hot fudge brownie sundae!!! MMMMM!!! We love the plaza- make sure you have ADRs.

Thanks! It all sounds good!

We have reservations--I just booked it last night, and I was SHOCKED at how much availability there is for 2 weeks out at all sorts of places.

It's nothing fancy, but the food is quite good, if limited to mostly sandwiches with one salad choice. It was easily the best burger I've had at WDW. The meatloaf special is also good if they have it. We've been going to the parks for years and just discovered this gem on our last visit. You won't be dissapointed.

Oh, Save room for dessert tho, it is all ice cream wonders from next door (main street ice cream parlor). The Brownie sundae can easily feed 3 :lovestruc

DH and I had lunch at the Plaza on his birthday in December. I had the club and he had the philly I believe. Both were big enough to split. The fries and salads were also good, but the desserts were beyond amazing. The banana split was HUGE!

When we went in January I had the turkey club which was very good and absolutly large enough to split especially if you want dessert. DH had the burger and said it was good but nothing special and a friend of ours had the strawberry chicken salad and he loved it. I also loved the potato chips that they serve. We were dissapointed with dessert though as two of us ordered the brownie sundae and neither of us could even get into the brownies as they were rock solid.

We love the Plaza. I'm hoping for an ADR here prior to MVMCP.

Anyway, the tomato soup is delicious! Also second the strawberry salad. I also enjoy the turkey sandwich and the fries are GREAT--big steak fries, not little whimpy ones.

Have a fun trip!
