Which would you choose? I already have reservations at Be Our Guest and Cinderellas Royal Table on another day, and we've already tried all other MK restaurants in previous trips. These 2 are the only ones we have yet to try. I have a 14 year old and 8 year old. Please help :)

Skipper Canteen has a unique atmosphere and fun theme. I'd go there.

We've never done Skipper Canteen, but do Plaza every trip (sometimes twice). We'd choose the Plaza, but really I'd read the menu's and see which sounds more appealing for your group. We love the Plaza, but if you're using the dining plan, I'd probably just pay OOP, since really it's a pretty cheap TS restaurant.

We like both also. I agree with above - look at the menus and find the food that appeals. They're quite different from each other, both in terms of food served and atmosphere. I don't think you can go wrong either way though.

Are people still having good experiences getting into The Plaza with their mostly walk-up policy now? We'd like to try it next month.

I've done both and definitely prefer Skipper Canteen. Food and service was very good at Skipper Canteen and in a fun atmosphere with lots of neat decor to check out. The Plaza to us is a cut above QS meals. Nothing special about the menu with decent food at more affordable prices than other TS locations, but nothing that makes me want to go back other than saving a buck.

We've eaten at the Plaza many times. We dined at the Skipper Canteen for the first time last October.... we weren't terribly impressed. We are very adventurous eaters, but this place just fell flat for us. We will definitely return to the Plaza this year, though!!

We really enjoyed Skipper when we had lunch there last October. The atmosphere is fun and unique, and we thought the food was quite good for a theme park restaurant. I would definitely look at the menu though and make sure there's something that appeals to everyone, especially the kids :)

I loved Skipper Canteen. The atmosphere is unique. The food was very good. The cast carries on the Jungle Cruise theme...if that's your thing. I really enjoyed the whole experience.

We eat lunch at the plaza every trip! Love it! The food is great, the ice cream is even better and there's a castle view. It is our one must do every trip.

Yes, we waited less than 10 minutes for lunch two weeks ago and the park was crowded. It was the least amount of time we have ever waited and all the other times we had ADRS!
