The Plaza, anyone?

To be honest until very recently I didn't even know it exsisited. I can not tell you how many times we must have walked by it. That being said we are thinking about adding it to our upcoming trip. So has anyone been there lately/ever? Thanks

I was there 2 weeks ago. I had a pretty good Rueban and a great Hot Fudge Sundae. I was there at lunch and it was a nice quiet break from a busy Saturday at the MK. It's not fancy food but it is good food.

I love the Plaza! It's very small, and they have a kind of limited menu of sandwiches and salads. But they also have very good ice cream sundaes. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner.

It is now one of my "must do's" as it has the most wonderful vegetarian sandwich I have ever had. In fact, we are doing the plaza in Sept. before the Halloween Party.

I agree. It is certainly the quietest restaurant in MK and although the menu is a bit limited, I enjoyed my meal there.

Love the Plaza! They have a great turkey club and yummy german potato salad. We eat here every trip.

I agree with the OP.
I believe I knew it existed [maybe? ] but I always walked by it. I'm making it a goal to eat here on our upcoming trip. Sounds like good casual food for lunch and that hot fudge sundae looks heavenly!

My family and I went there for lunch last August, however I don't think we will be going back. Nothing was wrong with our food or the service, we just did not think it was the right place for us. We were happy to try it once and for us that was good enough.

We've gone there quite a few times in the past few years but lately as I have the kids with us- i think the last time might be the last for awhile. Like someone said- there's nothing wrong with it, in fact for food in the MK i think it is one of the better places. The service just takes a bit long and my kids have a hard time watching all the people walk by to go on rides and such while they are sitting there waiting for food. They are fine in other restaurants, but i think being in the park they get antsy. The ice creamthere is really good too

We like the Plaza Restaurant a lot. The food portions are very large and we've always enjoyed our meals. OH, and their milkshakes are yummy!

We love, love, love The Plaza. It's a nice little restaurant with great sandwiches and salads. It's a perfect place to take a break in air conditioning. We've never had a problem with slow service. Our favorite is the club sandwich with either a shake or a hot fudge sundae. I can't wait to go back in September.

I wouldn't go as far as REALLY good. I like it though. I eat here every trip. For lunch. Don't do dinner. I thought it was gross. Plus they had more offerings at lunch.

We too just discovered The Plaza last summer during free dining. I can't believe I never knew about this charming restaurant. Ate there again this past December and have an ADR for our trip in two weeks. The vegetarian sandwich is wonderful. I'm not a vegetarian, but love to have a meatless meal at least 2 or 3 times a week, and this sandwich is perfect.
