Thursday 27th August - Ak morning, rest afternoon, EP evening.
Friday 28th August - HS morning, rest afternoon, evening free to see any evening show we have missed.
Saturday 29th August - free morning for any park we want to revisit, rest afternoon, MK evening.
Sunday 30th August - check out, return home :(

I know we are out every morning but the children are generally up early in the morning even after late nights so I figure we may as well take advantage.
We will drop some of the parks or switch plans if we are getting too tired.

Looks great. We arrive on 11th. Our sons 15th birthday on 12th. Haven't made our plan yet as waiting for brother to book his families flights. We leave on 1st September so have 21 nights at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and during that time we'll have a night at RPR so we can have two days early access.

We have very similar plans - arrive on 16th, staying at HRH for 2 nights and then transfer to OKW until 30th.
See you there!:jumping1:

That looks very simular to our holiday almost to the day but a year later. We are not sure about KSC yet though. I'm excited about staying at the RPR as we have never done Universal before.

your plans look great
i had originally broke our days u in to mornings afternoons and evenings but found the mornings always ran in to the afternoon so by the time we got back to hotel to change it was in to the evening part of our plans

Looks good Jo - similar to our plans too. Although towards the end of the holidays I've mixed it up a bit and put in a few later afternoon starts. It's so hard to fit everything in that you want to do especially when on the DDP!

I think, as Bex says, that we'll end up having our afternoons shortened to some extent especially with all the travelling. It may not be so bad for you if you have a car the whole time.

We did think about just doing RPR for one or two nights mid stay but in the end it worked out quite a bit cheaper this way as we're not paying for two hotels at the same time.

Yes see you there. It's starting to feel a lot more real now the plans are done.

My DH has wanted to go to KSC ever since he was a boy so that was on our plan from the start.

Yes I think there are some days where we will have to be quite strict about ending our morning so we are ready to go back out again in the evening. Other days I'm sure we'll end up just staying in the morning park and then not bother to go back out again in the evening.

I did look at putting some later mornings into the plan but it's difficult knowing that you are missing the quietest time in the parks so I figured we would be better just catching up on the sleep in the afternoons or early evenings.

Yes, I'm glad we've decided to have a car. If we collect the car once we arrive at Disney and take it back on our last morning before heading to the airport then a fullsize will be fine for the five of us. I haven't booked it yet but the quotes at the moment are only about £100 more than the cost of getting transport to KSC. For us it is more than worth paying that for the convenience.

Looking good, our plans are similar too, but we fly in on the 30th. We are doing Universal for the 1st 3 days then over to OKW & Typhoon Lagoon on 1st Disney day. Just trying to work out if/where we can squeeze in MNSSHP for DS & his girlfriend.

We always get up and head out of a morning and with a 9am park open and a car this is fairly easy with little ones :goodvibes

Just watch the weather with afternoon plans - those storms can be very powerful and you don't want to get caught out in one!

We used to do consecutive rope drop starts when the kids would get up for it. You will get loads done if they can :) Now I have teenagers we will be alternating a rope drop day with a day relaxing then the afternoon and or evening in the park. The new FPP system actually arrived just at the right time for a mum of sleepy teenagers! I just wanted to make one comment about your plans. If you're kids are at all like many, they will want to spend hours in the hotel pool. Be prepared for that, mine are 13 and 16 and have been to Disney many times in the last 8 years and the hotel pool is ALWAYS their favourite thing !

Looks great! I've just now sitting starting to put my plan together for October! I know it's a bit early but I'm already getting too excited!

Yes very similar, it should be nice and quiet arriving on the 30th. Sadly with the kids school we don't have that option. I hope you have a great trip :)

Thanks we've only got a few days with afternoon plans as we want to keep out of the parks during the hottest part of the day generally. Sadly though FOF parade and some of the entertainment in the world showcase only really seem to go on in the afternoons. I'm hoping getting out every morning will work fine as the girls are generally up early and at least towards the beginning of the holiday the time difference will be in our favour. :goodvibes

Yes FP+ is definitely an advantage if you don't want to arrive to the parks until late. I'm hoping that we should be able to get in the pool most days. On the days we have an afternoon rest I'm hoping we should be able to swim and still have enough time for a nap if we need it (assuming the weather is kind to us and we can get in the pool). I expect we'll end up swimming on our relaxing evenings too before having an early night. :goodvibes

Looks like a great itin - have a magical time
Thanks :goodvibes

It's never too early to make a plan. This one has taken me weeks. :goodvibes
