Cast - me, 40(ish) 6th trip to The Magic
DD, 8, 6th trip along with me
Sunday 10th May
We had a late afternoon flight from our local airport to CDG, and boy, did the time drag at home til it was time to set off!
Finally though we were on our way, no delays, on time at CDG, caught the TGV to the gates of DLRP, and by 7.30pm we had put our luggage at the luggage store at the main park, and were on Dumbo
. The main park closed at 9pm, and it was raining quite heavily, so there were very few folk about. We rode Dumbo, IASW, Peter Pan twice, and POTC (with about 6 other people total on the ride). Our last ride of the evening was Buzz, and there was absolutely no-one else on the ride at all with us
.
We heard the park closure announcement as we were coming out of the shop near Buzz, and wandered with a handful of others out of the park gates. We picked up our bags, then DD decided she wanted to buy her first souvenir so we popped into the big store in The Village.
Then we decided to eat at the Sports Bar - I've done a separate review, I'd recommend this
.
At around 9.45 we got on the bus to the Magic Circus, which would be our home for the next 3 nights and days. I've put photos etc on the review thread for the hotel, lovely, I'm well impressed with this hotel
. We had a huge king size bed, my DD lay on one side and stretched her arms right out, and she still didn't make it to the centre of the bed
-
We were unpacked, settled in bed with hot drinks, and alarm set for next morning, by 10.30pm.
Sorry not many pics today, as it was raining and we were too busy enjoying all the rides with nobody about
.
