Well, this is my first crack at any kind of trip report, so bear with me. :goodvibes

Before I introduce you to the cast, travel dates, and plans I suppose I should give you some back up on the name of the trip report.
PHP stands for "Psycho Hitz Posse" a name me and my four friends made up for ourselves when we were in high school back in 1998. The five of us became close friends through our close bond over a certain band. Hanson. Yes, I said Hanson (which is where we got the HITZ part of the name from).
The five of us (well...now down to four - one of the girls we're not friends with anymore) have been friends for 11 + years now. However, only three of us are going on this trip -

So here are your introductions:

Here's me - Theresa, I'll be 26 on the trip.
DH is usually my Disney companion, but he's deployed to Iraq this year, and when I asked him if he wanted to go back on R&R he said no. :confused3
He always has a great time, but he can be kind of cranky and complains a lot, so I'll let it go. I was all set to not make the trip to Disney this year, luckily my friend Erin suggested we go...and who was I to say no?
I'm currently living in Texas, but will be moving back to my hometown in Wisconsin in about three weeks and will be starting cosmetology school next month. I'm an excessive planner (like a lot of you) and am already counting the days to this trip.

Here's Erin. She turns 27 earlier in the week that we leave for our trip. She's a special ed teacher, and is super excited about this trip! She hasn't been to the world since she went as a kid when she was in 5th grade.

And Katie, who will also be 26. She got married last year & is a web designer. She's went to AK in 2006 and another trip to the world back in high school. She's more relaxed and wants to take it slow, so we'll see how our contrasting personalities work out.

Now that we have that out of the way. We have the trip scheduled for Thursday, October 29 - Monday, November 2.
We're flying out very early on Thursday (just booked our flights this week!) on AA, and flying out in the afternoon on Monday.
This only gives us 3 full days and one half day at the park. We plan on hitting each park as well as DTD.
We're booked for a standard view room at Coronado Springs - we requested Cabanas. I'm so excited to see it in person - the pictures look absolutely gorgeous!
We were planning on going to MNSSHP while we were there, but the dates don't really work into our plans.
Obviously, the hours aren't out yet, but this is our tentative plan:

Thursday, October 29: Flight leaves Milwaukee at 6 AM, and lands at MCO at 11:20. We plan to take Magical Express to CSR. Once we're all checked in, we're heading out to Magic Kingdom. Since there's a Halloween Party that night, MK closes at 7. Katie has already stated she'll be ready to go back to the hotel by then, but I think I'll probably quick hop over to DHS to get a ride in on my favorite - TOT :lovestruc

Friday, October 30: hoping for an 8 AM reservation at Akershus, then spending some time at Epcot that morning and afternoon and hope to head out before the crowds get too thick from F&W . We'll either hop to DTD or one of the other parks

Saturday, October 31: haven't decided between DHS or AK this day. We already know AK won't take us long (we only want to do EE, Dinosaur, and ITTBAB). Then we'll hop somewhere when we're done.

Sunday, Nov 1: either DHS or AK - whichever we didn't do the day before

Monday, Nov 2: I'm hoping to grab an early breakfast at Kona because I'm dying to try Tonga Toast. Maybe spend an hour or two by the pool before we get picked up to go back to the airport.

My goal for the trip is to meet my cartoon crush - Woody
Erin wants to meet her cartoon crush - Peter Pan
and Katie wants to meet her favorite princess, Sleeping Beauty.

So, we've got our hotel reservations, our flight booked, and I plan to buy our (military discounted :cool1: ) tickets next week!
And I think that's all I've got to report for now!

Great start so far! Sounds like you're getting ready for a great trip!

Op- I am from southwestern Wisconsin (Platteville), lived in Texas for 10 years, and moved back to Platteville about 5 years ago! Love General Mitchell Airport! Most of my family is from around Milwaukee so I usually fly outta there,,,an excuse to visit and get a ride to the airport!
I can't wait to hear about your trip further into the fall, we usually go during the end of summer Aug/beginning of Sept. and miss out on the F&W Festival and the Halloween Party
