Has anyone done the photography portrait package?

Just wondering if you purchase the CD if you have any problems printing it off back in the UK.

Cheers Kirsten

We have done it twice and after saying I wouldn't do it again next year I have changed my mind.

What are you thinking of doing? The 20 minute session or the 1 hour one?

I have had no issues whatsoever printing any of my images from the CD's and have even done 2 x A0 canvases, photo gifts, cards and who knows what else.

The pics in my signature are a few from the two sessions we did (one at the Grand Floridian and the other at the Poly)

If you need any info please feel free to ask

Thanks, Those photos in your signature are great. Why did you think you wouldn't do it again?

I was thinking the 1 hour session, when our first child was born we did a family photo session he was 5 months, second child we did one he was 9 months, little madam arrived she will be 4 next year when are at Disney we have not done a photo session. I am feeling a bit guilty no big baby picture on the wall of her.

We are a nice relaxed family on holiday, I am working on losing weight and we hopefully more comfortable in my skin by May.

Which setting would you suggest? How good are the photographers at suggesting ideas or do we need to have some idea of what we would like?

Cheers Kirsten

Sorry I worded that ambiguously - I had every intention of doing it again but thought since we had done two that I would leave a bit of a gap between the last one and the next one but my daughter has changed and grown up overnight and I think the next one would be so different.

Personally with small kids I would never do the 1 hour session. It is more expensive and you can do it in a theme park rather than a resort. I just think that an hour is a LONG time to try and keep kids focused. You also still have to pay for the CD over and above the $350 price for the one hour session, which is included in the 20 minute session at $150

We loved both locations as they were so different. When we did the first one it was still being run by Photopass and they had more resort options to choose from so i am now sorry we didn't rather do one of those that is no longer offered. We thought the pic quality was just as good with both sessions. We got 79 photos from the first one and 71 I think it was on the second. No dud shots and some really nice ones on there too. I could not get photos like that here plus the copyright release to the digital images for £100 and felt that the length of time was more than enough. There is a sticky on the resort photo sub forum on here which may have slipped down the list if not posted on for a while, but there are lots of sample photos we have posted on there.

They seem to have a pretty set plan of attack for those who just show up with no instructions or special requests and they do ask you at the beginning if there is anything you really do or don't want. We had a few requests all of which were met but felt that the photographer was in control and didn't waste time getting us from one point to the next. I don't like being the subject of photos and am far less comfortable on the other side of the lens than my photogenic DD but I felt very relaxed during the sessions

ETA. Missed your one question. The Poly was our favorite but that is personal taste as I have always loved that resort so I am biased. GF was a gorgeous setting and I am glad we did it as it was so different. We will probably go for the Beach Club or the Poly again next year.
