The Perfect WDW Stroller?

My DS is 2 but on the large side. Last year, we brought a Peg Perego with us to WDW Great features but found it was a hassle folding it up for the bus - large, bulky, heavy. Looking for something on the lighter side. My NEEDS are a storage basket, cup holder (guess I could buy the kind that attaches if needed), lightweight, and easy to fold. Don't want to spend a fortune like I did on the Pliko since he is getting bigger and won't need it for too much longer. Used to have a Graco Citilite but gave it away prematurely after the 1st child. Don't think they make this anymore - but it was perfect.

So, folks, what is the perfect WDW stroller in your opinion?

Try the Graco Metrolite. I don't have it, but a friend does. Wish I had it for this purpose, but will just use ours. (Graco Quattro Tour).

Graco still makes a great lightish weight stroller that comes fully loaded for about $40-50. Safety 1st makes one too.

We like the combi travel savy stroller for WDW. We used it many times before we had to upgrade to a peg pergo aira twin. The basket under the combi isn't the best, we hag a bag off the back. It has all the other features though and is small and comfortable (and I think rather cheap now.) :flower:

However if DH let me get a new one I would get the peg pergo P3. :goodvibes

We have two of the Chicco Capri strollers & are very happy w/ them. We last used them at WDW when our DS's were 1 & 3 and both did great in them.

We bought the click on cupholders for them from BRU. I have to have my cupholders! LOL

We brought one last year and thought renting one was waaayy easier you didnt have to try and get it on the bus at 2 a.m. and it was convienent to get them just our 2 cents.

Ok I will bite and ask, I know other are thinking it.

What are you doing out at 2:00 am with a child that is young enough for a stroller? (unless you are trying to get your adult SO home from PI in the stroller and the kid is home with a sitter! :rotfl: )

My kids stay up pretty late and 11:00 is the latest we ever were out and later we regreted it. 9:00 or 10:00 is more normal. I will admit that my kids were alseep most nights when we got home, making actually packing pjs a waste of space.

Edtited to add, sorry I hadn't seen that was your 1st post. Welcome to the board, glad to have you here! Still enquiring minds want to know! :rotfl:

We have the Safety 1st stroller for DD4, and she loves it. It has a cupholder, snack tray, basket underneath...even a tray on the back for water or soda for the adult. It isn't nearly as compact as an umbrella stroller, but it is lightweight and it folds. We got ours at Target, and I think it was around $30-$40. We are taking it to Disney again in two days :cool1:

We bought a new stroller just for our Disney trip for our 3 1/2 year old (who is big for his age). We bought a Zooper Salsa and I love this stroller. It was so much better than my hunk of junk big stroller we have.

I'm guessing they may have a major time zone change and 2:00 a.m. isn't as late for them??? Just a thought. :)

On the topic of the thread...we like the Peg P3 because of the great sun hood. Our DS is almost 2 and I plan to use the P3 for another year or so for our WDW trips.

That is a possibility. Mostly Europe I would think since west would be even later.

We were thinking about that if we went to DL in CAL. We could sleep in and still get there early. However we will be in bed around 8:00 pm though! :rotfl:

Eveytime someone mentions how great the P3 is I get jelous. I want one, but DH would blow a gasket if I bought one. I think I will end up doing it someday because my single combi has seen better days and once we don't use the double so much we are still going to need a single. If I buy it now I get more use out of it, but DH doesn't see it that way. Just spending $300 we didn't need to now. Oh well.
