I posted the following message on another thread, but incase you didn't see it, I thought I would start this thread. Shirley did say that there were some messages for her on her cell phone from some fellow DIS'ers, but she couldn't make out what was said. Shirley's first question to me was: "Is there any word on when the Magic and Wonder would be sailing?" I guess Shirley had baskets to deliver, but wasn't sure when to try and deliver them.
Shirley just called me back, she was able to find a store open and get herself a cup of coffee, now all is well. Shirley and Norm will be back at the shop on Tuesday to clean up the mess.
I'm on the phone (cell number below) with Shirley right now. The shop took a hard hit and Shirley was hit in the head with a flying object, but she said she was O.K. and she sends her love and best to all.
Shirley has not had power for three days, but she was able to charge up her cell phone with the car charger.
Shirley and Norm are taking care of several elderly people that live in her condo building because the people didn't have anywhere to go.
Shirley said if anyone is stranded and needs help with a place to stay, they can try and reach her on her cell at 321-508-2246. Shirley said that the Cocoa Beach area will be opened in about one hour.
This storm took a toll on Shirley emotionally, and I'm sure she would appreciate all your prayers.
