is anyone watching? I am because I remember being semi glued to the tv for the trial. I was in grade 12 so was in school but I definitely remember hearing about it. It's an interesting perspective and will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

One thing that has bugged me so far..the injection of the Kardashian family. I know the dad was heavily involved but I highly doubt the kids were cheering on their dad as he was doing a news conference and reading OJs suicide note.

Other thoughts?

Brings out the behind the scenes stories. Portrayed OJ to be way off kilter, Physical Evidence (OJ Blood) collected at the Scene and off the Bronco which was parked on the street. Limo driver seeing OJ Drive by in the White Bronco. Never Knew OJ threatened to blow his Brains out in Kim's room after he boinked his girlfriend in Kim's bed. Showing the Kardashian girls playing at Nicole Brown's funeral was not necessary.

Many aspects about the Trial I did not know, look forward to seeing more.

Seems to be a simple attempt to cash in on the Kardashian family fame for ratings. We all know how this story goes, but now it will be presented with multiple injections of useless Kardashian input that adds nothing but ratings potential.

Yep. They showed a clip of the series on TV this morning. Actresses playing the Kardashian sisters when they were young. *** does that have to do with anything?

I know how the story ends, and couldn't care less about the details. My wife and I were yelling "shoot" when the actor playing OJ had the gun to his head.

I watched the first episode and most of the 2nd. Seems like all the actors are overacting and I every time David Schwimmer speaks I picture the giraffe from Madagascar.

Yeah, I'm having a problem with some of the actors. Uuuggghhh...my kids (who are young adults) are enjoying the show though, but they have no recollection of the real people. I think the closest match in actors is the actress is who is playing the female prosecutor.

I saw the real thing, I don't need to watch a miniseries about it.
Can I LIKE this a zillion times??!!!
I was working from home and my tv was ON THE TRIAL all the time
It made Star Jones a CELEBRITY
but geeesshhh the trial was painful to watch

(BTW-do they SHOW Star Jones covering the trial??)

I watched the first episode. I was probably one of the few people that did not watch the trial. I only saw highlights and watched bits and pieces. The only character I had a hard time with was Kardashian because I just kept thinking why is Ross acting so strange. LOL

Yes, shamefully.

I am not watching it because frankly I'm still angry that he was acquitted.

I still remember everyone in our office going into the conference room to watch the verdict being read. That was a mistake. One should not mix business and politics. And that definitely had political overtones.

Watched the first episode. It was pretty boring and the overacting is too much. John Travolta looks creepy.

I agree the injection of the kardasians is annoying. Would he have made a big deal about it being "kimmy's" room if "kimmy" wasn't famous?

Sheesh, are they really playing up the K sisters when they were much younger? :sad2:

No thanks, I think I'll skip it. I already know how the story ends.

By the way, I may be one of the few who agreed with the verdict. :duck: I only saw a few days of the trial, but in each instance I thought the prosecution did a sloppy job. I wasn't surprised at all by the acquittal.

I was always under the impression the Kardashians were "discovered" during the trial, so I'm not shocked that's part of the show.

Personally, I remember the Bronco "chase" like it was yesterday. We were at the KofC Hall booking our reception. The guys there had a basketball game on in the background on mute. Suddenly, the game was gone & in its place a low-speed "chase", still on mute so we had no clue what was going on.

I watched the entire trial and agreed with the verdict.

The Kardashians werent really known( well Robert became famous because of the trai and both families had been friends.

then kris married Bruce.

The whole Kardashian thing didnt truly start until Kim making the tape with Ray J.

Robert died before the Kim juggernaut began. and momma kris pimping out the family.

I love Cuba Gooding and Sarah Paulson(marcia Clarke).

John Travolta um creepy.

But I remember the real thing.
The trial of the century, my jaw hitting the floor with not guilty. yea not innocent either.

I was yelling "pull the trigger", LOL
The Kardashian girls let us a release yesterday saying they did not cheer at the news conference, It was added for the name only.
Also, it was not Kim's bedroom, it was Khloe's room, Kim and Kourtney shared a bedroom, they just used "Kimmie" cause she is more famous.

I was traveling abroad when the bronco chase happened. I called my boyfriend long distance to say hello (about $5/minute) and he insisted on yammering on about it. From that moment on I closed my ears to it all. We're married now and I still give him heck about it. :rotfl:

We're watching too. I remember the chase and trial well. DD and I think Malcolm Jamal Warner (Playing A.C.) would have made a much better O.J. than Cuba. They haven't captured the charm, charisma and likeability that was OJ prior to the murders. Maybe some of that will come back during the trial portion. Cuba just looks likes he is overacting, and his voice is grating, octaves higher than OJ. John Travolta looks weird but has captured some of the mannerisms of Shapiro. Schwimmer just reminds me of on older Ross, bumbling around, especially when he walked into OJ's house and talked about OJ being dead, without any real knowledge of what had happened. And if he calls him "Juice" one more time...
