I'll admit that I like to push the envelope when it comes to speeding.......I know where the line is, and I ride it consistantly. I do not get frustrated when I'm behind someone who doesn't push the envelope quite as far as I do, and I'm even patient with those who drive the speed limit exactly (after all, they are just obeying the law..... something I might try someday). I do however roll my eyes at them several times. I have no problem with the elderly driving below the speed limit.... their reflexes aren't as quick, and it doesn't feel comfortable for them to go any faster (just ask Goofus, Debster and Dream). But, I seriously DO NOT understand anyone else who drives under the speed limit...... it makes me insane. It's perfectly light outside, the roads are dry, the visibility is flawless, the car is able.... WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU DRIVING 47........49.........48.......50.......48.......47..........48....... 49??????? And, do you NOT have cruise control in that thing???? I just want to get home....... MOVE!!!! *sigh*

I'm not uptight JTB, I just want to get somewhere in a decent amount of time..... like home!! It really is frustrating when they go below the speed limit and their speed is inconsistant. The thing is, I live in the country (small town), so my drive is a straight, open shot..... no stop signs or stop lights.....requires little thinking. I just want to drive....... faster. Again, if they were going 55, I wouldn't complain (roll my eyes.... yes, but not complain).

Ahem...I'll have you know Miss Fishy†, that I am a genuine, authentic, race car driver. Well, almost. I have done some SCCA racing (road courses and autocrosses) You just watch out whose driving you are criticizing there Missy!!! I'll win this one for sure.

We had a department 'party' last year, and went to an indoor shifter kart track. Guess who beat *all* the guys?? Yep, me. Lots of bruised egos that night.

I-35 is the worse around here. It agitates me to ne end. I am always yelling (inside the car to myself like I am talking to them)- "If you can't drive the speed limit- get on the access road!!"

My son loved to tell every one about me yelling that phrase.

jamsmom I35 is pretty bad around here also! But thats due to all the construction it has. Can wait for the next season to start.
