Why don't they just ban Jack and Jill while they're at it? It promotes teen promiscuity. (What were Jack and Jill really doing at the top of the hill) It is also very violent since they both fell down the hill afterward and were seriously injured. Where were Jack and Jill's parents. Who left the hill open to children as well. Why stop there. How about Jack be Nimble? It promotes children wanting to leap over candles in a fanciful manner risking life and limb.

People need to buy a clue sometimes. It is a fictional book for goodness sake.

I'm sorry, but I have to say I agree with her. Think about it. Here's this baby monkey who gets seperated from his home and family. Does the MITHY do anything to reunite him with his family? No, he KEEPS him. If you found a lost child would you keep him/her? I don't think so.
So, now he in essence has kidnapped this monkey and lets him run amok. What kind of parent would let their child behave in such a manner? I really think its shows children that just because something is lost you have every right to keep it. I really think promting such behavior is completely irresponsible, but what else is new in Hollywood......
