The passes for DLP

Hello there!

I'll be travelling with a group of people from Sweden with Övlemarks Bus. I'vce already paid for a two day pass. My question about the pass is what the pass includes. Does it include seeing shows that are in the park? I'm not keen on taking the big rides. I'll most likely be in Walt Disney Studios, since I love the movies.

Another way to ask this question:

What can one do that is included in the pass?

Also, how much, on average, should one expect to pay for food. I'm not interested in spending first class prices. A good average restaurant would do fine for me. I plan to see some of Paris, too. So it'll include 2 lunches and 2 dinners, for Disneyland.

I'll be celebrating my 40th birthday while I'm in Paris.

Thanks in advance!

Heysan :) from probably the only other Swedish resident on these boards!
I was just looking into a bus trip this morning! Just part of my daily Disney obsessive routine and hopefully I'll be booking one one day soon. Regarding your question your tickets I hope are hoppers, which means you can go back and forth between the Disney Studios and Disneyland, although I'm not 100% certain. It might be a good idea to make sure that they are by emailing the bus company because Disneyland I've read has more to do than Disney Studios. Other than that your tickets include all the shows and attractions in the Parks. You will be able to ride the rides over and over again, but make sure to pick up a "fast pass" for the very popular rides, so you don't have to wait to long in line.

Regarding food, as I've never been I can only point you to the direction of a website that specializes in Disneyland Paris food http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/ Other excellent sources of information are the Disney Dining board here on the Dis, and the Disneyland Trip Reports board.

Your hotel choice looks excellent by the way. I couldn't help reading up on it on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g226865-d487413-r6055499-Kyriad_Disneyland_Resort_Paris-Marne_la_Vallee_Ile_de_France.html
After all, hopefully I'll need that information one day soon!

Trevlig resa :thumbsup2 !

Congratulations on celebrating your birthday at DLP will the park is also celebrating a birthday :goodvibes

Your passes include access to all shows as well as enabling you to get Fast Passes to certain rides. Even if you are not a coaster fan there is still plenty to enjoy :)

Thanks for your replies.

My main concern has more to do with knowing how much food will cost in the parks. I want to have a good budget for the 2 days in Disnayland and in Disney Studios.

I'm not really into fast rides at all. But I know that Disney Studios has some interesting attractions in relation to making movies. I might take a ride that doesn't go so fast. It seems that the passes we'll be given give us access to both parks since they describe both parks and we've already paid for the tickets.

Would 300 euro cover two days worth of food plus any souvineir? I don't plan to buy too many things, as I have plans to see some of Paris, too. There are some excursions that are available to take with the bus company. So one gets the best of two worlds.

Hi Jazzman67, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:
My main concern has more to do with knowing how much food will cost in the parks.

If you look at the site that Kristina recommended dlpfoodguide and click on the names of the restaurants then click on MENU you will see the prices. This will give you a good idea of how much to budget for each day. :goodvibes

Kristina,

I'm actually an American living in Sweden.. still single... but have lived in Sweden for 15 years. The hotel choice isn't mine, as Övlemarks had all the hotels pre-booked, including the overnight in Malmö.

It's a shame I have allergies, since it would have been fun to see the Buffalo Bill Show. I'm allergic to dust and pollen!

Thanks for the informarion about the food prices! It looks as id there's a wide range of choices in price range, which is good.

I'm an American too! I'm from California, Los Angeles to be exact and this July I'll have been here 15 years myself! Wierd eh! Time goes by amazingly fast!

Sorry about your allergies but with all you have to see and do you probably won't miss Buffalo Bill too much :) . You will have a wonderful time!
