Hey!

My sister and her boyfriend are at WDW right now and she said it is EMPTY compared to the usual times she's been there with us during the summer! So far this morning, when they went to go on Mission: Space & Test Track they had about 10 people with them or in the area. NO WAITS!!!! After they went on Mission: Space, her boyfriend felt sick so their taking a short break. I told her to head to Soarin and check out the wait time, I'll post it when she let's me know!

:wave2: Thanks for the post! :goodvibes My sister and neice are flying out this AM :cool1: I'm glad to hear about the crowd level! :Pinkbounc

We're on our way tomorrow - glad to hear the crowds aren't terrible!!

we were there a couple days last week and thought the same thing. The only thing we had to wait on was soaring during EMH!!! and because it was EMH I expected to wait!!!!

Thanks for the update.

I went to Epcot last night and the crowds were very managable. Had some Fish & Chips at England and kicked back and watched Off Kilter play. What a great, relaxing time.......

We are leaving for the World on Sunday and I'm sure it will be packed towards the middle of next week because of Labor Day weekend but I"m hoping it won't be to terrible. :cool1:

Glad to hear thecrowds are low...the family arrives on Tursday so lets hope it stays that way. I CAN"T WAIT!!! :bounce:

I went this week last year and it was great (except the heat!) and I plan on going again this week next year!!

Labor Day weekend (Thursday - Monday) will be crazy, but if you can hold off until later in that week most US schools are back in session and it's clear sailing for the rest of you :cool1: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I was there last year during Labor Day, and the crowds weren't bad at all. I don't think we waited more than 10, maybe 15 minutes for anything.

it's great to get first-hand info... thanks pkdcoastrs :)

we've been to the world labor day weekend (and days before and after) three times in the last five or six years, including last year, and it's always been VERY manageable crowd-wise! i'm not remotely worried! :flower:

lovemygoofy... great pic of you and your soldier! thank him for his service for us! :)

last year the parks were closed Sat/Sun of Labor Day weekend due to Hurricane Frances, so there were no lines for anything! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad to hear it...we are not going down until Monday the 29th, this is our normal time of travel and the crowds seem to be somewhat low compared to the crowds in July...crowds may pick up closer to the weekend into Labor Day though but still manageement. Just realized that the Tom Joyner Family reunion event is being held begining on the 2nd...Coronado Springs Resort will be hosting the event.

I would think that by Labor day a lot of people would be back home, getting ready for the school year. I'm hoping I'm right! Leaving in one week from today!! WOOHOOO!

I wish I could be there NOW. We still have 37 days left to go. I don't know if I will be able to stay sane intill then. Specially when yesterday I was running the AC and today I had to break out the jeans and sweatshirts.

I hope you're right! We leave in one week too...8/30 - 9/05! Have a good trip!

Leaving Thursday morning, hopefully the low crowds will hold through next Thursday.

This is the best news I've heard all day. Leaving on Saturday for 8 nights :cool1:

Keep us updated on what else your sister has to say and thanks to both of you for sharing this info :teeth:

Oh yeah - Forgot about that.

It was the day before that was empty - That Friday. Then again, I'm sure that was because most sane people were headed away from Disney World, while looney's like me, were heading towards it.

Actually, it's always slow the Friday before Labor Day. We have been there the last 6 years, except for last year (we went in June with our sons HS band).
