what time is the parade? ( were going in may) is watching the parade at DLP like at WDW- turn up an hr in advance to get a spot where you can see something!

It is usually 4.00 or 5.00 and yes it is similar to WDW - to get a good spot you need to be there early

it depends on how busy it is when you are there. i went in october and feb and i just turned up as the parade was starting and always got a place lol. but the parks were really quiet

It also depends where you prefer to watch the parade.

I usually watch the parade near where it starts in Fantasyland, and usually only have to turn up 10 minutes before it begins to get our usual brilliant spot . But I have watched it on Main St also, and yes, folks were starting to camp out on the pavement there a good half hour - 45 minutes before the parade was due to start.
