The Palms Hotel & Villas

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had stayed at the Palms Hotel & Villas. My FH and I are planning a trip to WDW and US for our honeymoon in August and I was wondering what the place is really like. It has mixed reviews on TripAdvisor so I thought maybe you could shed some light on the subject!

We stayed there in October. It's an older hotel that has been renovated. However, you can see where it's been renovated, because they didn't renovate top to bottom. That being said however, we thought it was a great value for the money. You get a bedroom, with doors, sofa, mini kitchen, that you can cook at, but mostly, it's good for the sink, fridge only. They do have "continential" breakfast. They have a shuttle to the parks. But, we didn't use it. We will probably be going back to this hotel. We went to disney world for our honeymoon too. We did stay on-site though. So bottom line, the hotel is decent and a good value for the money, however, I can't say it's super romantic for a honeymoon.

Well if you are planning on going back, it can't be half as bad as some of the TripAdvisor reviews made it seem! We are not looking for the *wow* romance factor for our honeymoon. We wanted to stay someplace a little nicer than the Motel 6 but didn't want to break the bank either. It seemed like it was a good value.
