I was curious, since I hadn't seen anything written on the boards or on the actual FTW site, about animals being apart of the ceremony.

I know it's Disney, and the last thing they would want to have to worry about is if my pooch will tinkle on the aisle runner, but my puppy is my FH and my "child" and we just couldn't really see getting married without her there.

We have relatives in FL where she'll stay while we have the reception and honeymoon, she's potty-trained and smaller. Has anyone had a :pug: ringbearer, attendant at Disney or know if they'd allow it?

Disney sadly will not allow this unless it is an animal that is there for "special needs" reasons - i.e. to assist with a disability.

Sorry to disappoint you :(

Thanx Fantasia,
at least it's better to know than be in the dark.

Is it the same with disney off-site properties or just on site? *stretching for a little hopefullness*

You know I am unsure of what the situation is "off-property" - hmm you could try.

Also even though I have given you this information please feel free to double check with Disney themselves as you never know they may have changed their policy, perhaps with an outdoor wedding?

disney is a no go with animals at the wedding unless its for medical reasons like an assist dog for ie. we wanted to have our ferret be the ring bearer or one of our dogs, as their literally family but disney said no in march 2005. due to liability reasons, other guests comfort & their not allowed at the resorts.
