I believe I have made an astonishing discovery - the original source of carpal tunnel syndrome!!

It's those blasted joy sticks from the Atari 2600 system!!!!

I was going through items to sell on eBay and came across my kids old Atari system.. Well - I have to admit that I have a particular fondness for the Ms. Pacman game and lo and behold, there was a cartidge there in the box with the system.. So - I brought it up here to the lake and hooked it up last night.. In less than an hour, my hand and wrist were KILLING me!!

My son-in-law brought up his Sega Genesis system for me too but I am VERY dense when it comes to trying to figure out those games and in using the "Road Rash" motorcycle game I virtually spent all of my time driving through fields rather than on the road.. LOL:crazy:

So - other than eBay (too costly when you figure in the shipping and such) is there someplace where I might be able to purchase Ms. Pacman for the Sega (also loved Tetris) at a reasonable price?

Thanks!

Do you have a Gamestop store in your area? they have used games for all systems, going back to Sega Genesis, the original Nintendo, as well as used systems, contorlers, etc. I've picked up some Genesis games for my MIL, as well as some stuff for my Sega Dreamcast. You can also get to them online, but then you have to pay for shipping.

LOL....but back then, if you went to a doctor and complained of wrist pain and nothing showed up on an xray, you were called a hypochondriac! Yep, happened to me several times--Dad told several of the doctors off.

Yes, I have since had 5 surgeries on the wrist! Can I sue Atari, and my bike manufacturer and the piano maker? LOL!

Gamestop does have those old games. If you have a local pawnshop, they're worth a try, too. My stepdad and the kids were playing with the sega last week and he got old games at gamestop.

No...we don't have a Gamestop.. :(

Someone mentioned the possibility of video rental stores though.. We have Blockbuster.. Any chance I might find something there?
