If you buy tickets, but can't go, is there any way to recoup your money? Not looking to scalp tickets, but want to secure our tickets, even though there is a chance we might not be able to make it. I saw that resales are not allowed, but wondering if anyone has found away to deal with a change in plans.

I hate to say this, but I doubt you would be able to recoup the costs. I haven't heard of anyone getting money back from Disney for OBB tickets at least here. Regular park tickets are a different story.

Disney won't refund you but I believe you can "gift" them to someone else. Official reselling is not allowed.

IMHO, one of the better efforts in Disney animation history. Possibly my favorite of all. A favorite of our daughter when at about age four learned how to operate the VCR. Almost wore the tape out. Great memories!!

That's how we came up with it in the end. Three of us were going "flower in a teapot, I have seen this somewhere". We compared favorites and then started skimming through Disney+ movies. lol

That is correct. I had a Valentine's Event ticket and couldn't make it. I gave it to a friend as late birthday gift and she got in no problem.

OBB tickets state that they are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not for commercial resale. This is why this board strongly encourages everyone to be as sure of your party dates as possible before purchasing tickets. You can gift a ticket to a lucky someone or donate your ticket to a charity, e.g. Make a Wish, Children's Hospital of Orange County.

Okay, stupid question from a Disneyland First Timer (it's so weird how you know everything about WDW but then when you go to DL, you're like a newborn). These tickets that go on sale to the general public in....2 hours or so. Are buying thee tickets going to be as stressful as Comic Con? Like is there going to be a 2 hour virtual queue and people get locked out of dates even though they clicked the button at 9AM PT on the dot? Thanks so much all!!

There’s definitely a 2hr Que, but most dates don’t sell out until a few days or weeks down the road. Unless you’re going for Halloween night.

It's not open yet. Previous talk was from the presale that happened two days ago. I can still access to just get right in to get tickets because I'm a Keyholder (can access all but 9/10 date; a couple presale dates did sell out but will have more availability today) and D23 member (can access only 9/10 date)

Seems like no rhyme or reason. Some people who joined right after 9 got right in while those who were in the waiting room long before then waiting for hours. May the odds ever be in your favor. Many devices and browsers - you got this!
