Well, that's one of the many things I like about traveling with my dh. He just doesn't take junk like that from other people. FTR, I don't think we'd spend a lot of time waiting for a parade/show, but we went in the off-season so who knows what we'll do when it's busier. Anyway, when my dd turned 8 last year (on 11/18 - Mickey's Birthday!), she wanted to see Wishes after dinner. We had gone to Chef Mickey's and then took the monorail over to see the fw (we even got to ride in the front the whole way). By the time we got back to MK, it was pretty close to fw time so instead of fighting the crowds and trying to get down main street, we went up into the rail way station. There were a lot of people there already, so we staked out a spot with gaps so the kids could see. As soon as the show started, a grown woman came from *behind* us and stood directly in front of my 4' tall dd. My dd immediately started crying b/c she had her heart set on seeing the show for her birthday and she's a drama queen. My dh in turn immediately told the woman to move so the little girl could see. My dh is 6'2" and is pretty intimidating. The woman moved. It is totally beyond me why an adult would think it's OK to block someone else's view, especially a child's. Why would you have to be told? I just don't get it.
Now, when we saw Spectromagic on our first night, we didn't realize how early we needed to stake out a spot and so were standing back a bit. When parade time came, a woman who had been sitting with her young kids on the curb switched spots with my girls and sat with dh and I so the little ones could see. I thought that was so nice. At Epcot, we returned the favor to another family for Illuminations.

Mistakenly standing infront of someone, okay. Intentionaly and knowingly standing in front of people in the handicap section, well, there's a special place in heck for people like that!
