My husband calls me crazy. Our cruise in 48 days and I am having trouble concentrating on anything else as well. Everybody at my work teases me and says I might as well take the week before the cruise off as well, because I will not get anything done. Oh well!! What do they know...lol

Everyday I wake up thinking of how many days left. I have never even cruised before so I don't even know how much magic there is on the ships. I just know I can't wait to board the ship:D
396 days and counting everyone of them.

I am so greatful for this "island of sanity" where people understand how hubby and I can cruise Disney so many times. The people I work with have ceased even being amazed anymore...now they just take it in stride when I say we're going on another Disney cruise. We are already so excited about our cruise next week, even tho' the last one was just last month. We love being on the Wonder...for me, vacation begins when we settle into the adult whirlpool in the hour before the safety drill...that's when I know our trip has started. Of course, why does time always go into super-warp fast on the cruise and then slow down to a crawl when I'm at work?!

Prior to the pursuit of my MBA, I made a deal with the family that after 3 years of night classes, weekend meetings, and late study nights, we would go on a Disney Cruise. We opted for the 4 day land and 3 day sea package. Promise is kept on April 21, 26 days away.

These boards have been my "carrot" to finish and to celebrate!!

I will not know what to do come May, unless we plan another.....

I've been "planning" this cruise since I made the down payment in January. Every day I search this board for little tidbits of information. I've booked our stay at the Radisson for the night before and we're staying off site for the week after. I got a good priceline rate at the Renaissance World Gate. I'm making my final payment on the cruise in April (even tho we don't have to until July) and I know I'm going to go over and over and over everything at least a couple more hundred times. My DH is very tolerant of me and just listens, nodding his head, everytime I say "Guess What!". Hopefully, Sept. will get here before I drive him crazy.

Oh - I am so with all of you!!

Our upcoming trip in May occupies my every waking hour!!! I cannot stop thinking about it!!

It is an addiction!!

I agree completely! I have spreadsheets and notes that I keep going over... of course, I'd never over-plan! I have a huge notebook that contains schedules, navigators, pictures etc.

Now my 10 year old is doing the same thing. She has her own notebook and her own schedule & navigators. We have so much fun!

My husband just shakes his head...

Only 151 more days to go...

I know exactly how all of you are feeling and I am so happy that I am not the only one this excited!!

We have a very big family group going (21 all together) 11.03.02 and we are doing the 7 day land / sea and then 3 additional nights after the cruise in WDW at the CR. Each month we ALL get together for our Disney Meeting. At these monthly meeting we discuss everything to do with our trip. Our first meeting we watched the DCL video. We keep coming up with ideas and tips from other people just reading this board. Each month we try to stick to a topic and make decisions based on the group majority. I am also the one that makes spreadsheets and I have a bookbag full of information from these boards.

We booked in June 2001 and are sailing 11.03.02 - we only have 219 more days to go!!

Thanks everyone for all your help and advice.

Lisa

I know how you all feel! I've been surfin' these boards since last June taking lots of notes. Got the notebook going. When DH said go ahead and book it I was already half way there!

We (me, DH, DS-10) leave in 20 days; driving to PC on 4/13, on the Wonder on 4/14. Also doing the Kennedy Space Center and then onto Universal/Islands of Adventure.

I've already started packing! Last week Brenda sent me a first-time cruiser card which I received today so I'm off to see my TA first thing in the a.m. I also booked the Radisson and later changed it to get the $59 FALL rate.

Rented the Olsens' video "Holiday in Paradise." Imagine my surprise when DH and DS actually wanted to watch to see what they might get to do at Atlantis.

I've made a treasure chest to fill with goodies for my DS, including a certificate I am hoping to get Captain Hook to sign. Made him a personalized autograph/memory book to use with an Izone camera and instant "sticky" film.

Also have personalized and filled wooden crates with special "survival" stuff for each of them. (I made several trips to the craft store, container store and WalMart loking for the "right" size wooden crate for this project when I found them on the side of the road where someone had put them out for trash pickup.)

Continuing to finetune our plans as departure day gets closer and closer. . . .

I do believe I'm the craziest!!!

577 DAYS TO GO...

I do need these boards to help me pass the time, otherwise I think I'll drive my DH insane! I've learned quit a bit on these boards for my last trip to Disney this past Dec., and now I'm learning all about Mickey's boat.

The sad thing is my DD is as excited about this cruise as I am. I even got my inlaws to join us. Still have plenty of time to get more family members to come aboard.;)

I am so looking forward to sitting on my verhanda and drinking coffee or a tropical drink...or maybe both at the same time!

I have always thought planning and plotting about an upcoming trip to DW or a DCL vacation is at least half the fun...we sail on cruise #3 in May and I'm alreadying trying to settle on a date for the western 7 day in late fall. Barb you must walk around with a grin on your face 365 days a year...you're either on the Wonder or anticipating your next cruise all year long!
Co-workers and some family say Not Disney again!...they just don't understand. So glad to have these boards to turn to when I need my daily DCL fix.

Jacquelyn11, a fellow DISer on our cruise last May, carried a notebook with her everywhere while we were on our cruise. I wasn't surprised when we saw her with it during the Ressies Scramble, but she always had it when we saw her that week. And we met her and her family at AK later that summer. She carries that notebook to the parks as well.

I understand your husband. Having a 10yo doing the same thing is pretty funny!
