The only one on a ride

During the 2 after hours events I think the only ride we shared was 7dmt and maybe a couple people in haunted if you count that sharing... it was great, especially if they are spacing you so someone behind you isn't right behind you where you share the experience with them....

Some notable things:
- there is animations for the ghosts at the end of haunted mansion for an empty seat, you can only see them if there is a nearby empty seat.
- haunted mansion staff can safely walk around in the dark so they like to try and scare you by moving when the lights go out.
- you can pick and choose any seat so if you know a coaster is better from the back, you get right on in your favorite spot..
- you don't need to get off (most rides, some you have too).. you get to the end and they ask if your going again and send you off for the next ride.. (has to be really empty for this, sometimes they will load the next couple peopel into your vehicle if there is room).

I've also been on just about any ride alone (or with immediate group i'm with) in all the parks.. it's not too hard to find the dead spot of the day.. some a little more pot luck if it's a popular ride. . never done soarin or TT alone for example.

On night near the end of a late EMH, my daughter and I were the only people on The Barnstormer. I was in the first plane and she was in the last one and we rode it about 10 times in a row. What a blast-we laughed and screamed like idiots the whole time!

Many, many moons ago, my friend and I were the only ones on Pirates. We went on the last ride of the night, while the parades and fireworks and such were going on. It was awesome! Until...

The ride stopped. In between the ships firing at each other. For about fifteen minutes. LOL. After a bit we were kinda like... "Guys? Anyone?"

My wife and I were on our Honeymoon in 1997. We purchased E-ticket wristbands (Only $10 ea) for after hours. Around 11:30 we got on Splash Mountain, rode three times in a row without getting off and the last ride the CM didn't load anyone else in our log. We bought the picture after and it looks fake. pixiedust:

Our last trip, 2011, was the week right after Thanksgiving. Traditionally slow, and it was. One morning I went to EPCOT for a.m. EMHs. I think I was the only person, except for CMs, IN the Imagination Pavillion, let alone the ride. And I had hit other rides first. This was about 10 a.m.

Our family had an elevator to ourselves at ToT. My nephew is autistic and began to have a mini-meltdown right before we were to board. It didn't have anything to do with the ride, but he was just tired of waiting (even though they had a GAC at the time). My sister and BIL calmed him down and the CM made sure that he was OK to ride and then sent 6 of us all alone on the next elevator.

We were on the last raft for Kali one evening. We boarded over to the side because of the wheelchair, and the CM loading us jumped on and rode with us. She pointed out the lion hidden in the rocks, and explained how the crocodile got it's snout broken. (They were practicing evacuating procedures.) Actually, I think it looks better with the broken snout, than the matching crocodile that wasn't harmed during the evacuation.

October 2015. Many times in a row at Splash at RD. I think Barnstormer once but maybe one other person was on. I know I rode it like four times in a row while the line was nonexistent. ToT once late night and I believe I was the very last car of the night too. SE I had no one in front of me and no one behind me going through the queue so pretty close to alone.

We got to ride Big Thunder Mountain three times in a row. We went at RD because NO ONE does, and the first ride we had the front two rows and one other group had the last two rows. When we got back around, the other group got off and there was absolutely no one in line. We asked to go around again and he said yes. When we came around the second time there was STILL no one in line and we jokingly waved the ride attendant on like "don't make us stop!" and he grinned and let us go again. After three times, there were finally a handful of people in line and we got off. It's a mild ride but after three times it doesn't feel so mild! This was September 2014 on a non-EMH morning.

We've been lucky enough to have my favorite, ToT, to ourselves a few times and told to sit wherever we want. It is cool to be in the elevator alone but I honestly think its way more fun with a big group and hearing everyone's reactions, including the one token person freaking out. ToT alone is definitely more eerie though :).

Last week of August last year my family and I were at MK. Around 6pm it started thunder storming pretty bad. We were waiting for our reservations for the Plaza so we didn't mind. We had a long wait for our food so we weren't done until 7:30. The thunder had stopped but it was still pouring so me my wife and our daughter donned our ponchos and braved the weather. We rode a lot of rides and waited in little to no lines, but there were still people. At 10 they made an announcement that wishes wasn't going to happen and everyone left. We went to dumbo and no one was riding or in line. We rode 3 straight times without getting out and still we were the only ones. By this time it was only a light sprinkle so we didn't mind. I then went on the barnstormer 5 times in a row, switching seats each time but not having to get back in line, still no other people. We then did Buzz 3 times with still no one and finished off the night with 3 times on Aladdins carpet ride.
I think at this point there were no families left and that's why we got to ride all the family rides. There were people in the park, hardly any, but mostly younger going on 7 dwarves or space mountain.
We had a blast and still love talking about that night and sharing with others, especially when someone tells us about waiting 2 hours to go on Dumbo,

Was this by chance Saturday, August 29th? We arrived at WDW that day, and were in EPCOT when it started raining around the time you said. We stayed for IllumiNations (with lightning accenting the background of the fireworks), and I have never felt more like a drowned rat than that night. A great attitude about the rain from me, my wife and our two boys made all of the difference!
