I used to say there were only 2 things WDW didn't have-Bowling and Greeting Cards-now it is just Greeting Cards!

What's the deal!?

Mickey would sale a TON of WDW Birthday cards,WDW Christmas Cards, etc.!

Even Mickey's WDW Postcards are so LIMITED in variety!

Greeting cards are dying out along with the decrease in the public use of the postal service. I'm ok with them not wasting tons of trees for cards most people won't buy.

Probably wouldn't be that huge as you can already go to a local Target, Hallmark, etc and get Disney cards

If you're staying on property and don't have a car then it's not really an option. There have been two occasions that we really could have used a card. Even if they had two or three semi generic options that would be awesome!

My guess is because greeting cards would be a nightmare to keep the display full and looking nice.

Greeting cards take up a lot of real estate unless they're in a spinner rack, and there isn't much profit to be made for the space they take up.

No I'm talking about back home where you live. I live about 2.5 hours away from Disney and can find Disney cards in Target, Walmart, Hallmark, etc. I'm sure outside of Florida at local card stores they have Disney ones

THEY DO!
For my brother from another mother and his wife's 35th wedding anniversary, we bought a card at our local grocery store, carried it inside a sturdy folder, inside a baggie and had all the characters sign it, including Lady and The Tramp. They loved it so much they had it matted and framed!
And it cost around $2.50!
There are amazingly cool Disney cards out there, even at the dollar store!

I am surprised that the resort gift shops don't have just a couple generic Disney themed birthday, anniversary or blank cards. They have everything else you could have forgotten on your trip.

Just FYI, I'm a dinosaur that still likes to send postcards back home, so I've started having my own made from photos I've taken in past trips after being aggravated that I can't really find any in the parks anymore.

My wife has an app on her iPad that allows her to create cards from her photos, complete with all sorts of little customization options. They get uploaded to the service and go out in a day or two. So she sends cards to her mother almost in real time during our vacations. I think it's called PhotoCard, and my apologies if that's overly commercial and has to be zapped.
I suspect Disney is happy enough to license out its cards and not have to carry them in their own store space.

Disney theme would be nice, but I'm wanting "WDW" themed cards that would only be available at WDW-not the "Disney" themed ones that we all know can be found EVERYWHERE.:)

LOL - I wasn't even thinking about Disney themed cards necessarily. Just a greeting card when you forget one, or something comes up while you're there (or your husband forgets to bring one on Mother's Day)!

An adult only day. For those of us without kids. Adults who throw tantrums would be expelled.

So does there get to be a "no people without kids" day? I mean, if you're going to keep families with kids out for a day, you've got to have a day without childless people, too. ;)

Every day at Disney is kid day. Let the adults have a day with no strollers.

...and a day without people complaining about strollers. See? It doesn't work that way.
