The ONE Restaurant you would pick in Epcot...

We have 1 ADR to finish deciding on and it will be the night we are at Epcot. It is going to be Mother's Day and I am thinking that we should go somewhere special...because I deserve it right??

Well, if you had to choose only 1 restaurant at Epcot to eat dinner at, which would it be and why??

Bistro de Paris. Best service, atmosphere and food on property. (Can you tell we like it? LOL) It's not on the dining plan (but is on Tables in Wonderland). It would be the perfect setting for a very special dinner!

No doubt that Bistro de Paris is the best restaurant in Epcot. The others don't even come close.

But just to confuse the issue a bit more, are you limiting yourself to Epcot? Or are the restaurants in Yacht/Beach/BW/Swolphin also in play?

Yacht/Beach/BW/Swolphin ARE also in play...Husband doesn't like Seafood though...

Seriously, I'd still rate Bistro de Paris very highly on the list of choices. I'd add Yachtsman Steak House (Yacht Club), Il Mullino (Swan) and Blu Zoo (Dolphin) to the mix. Since seafood isn't a big attraction for you I left off Flying Fish.

Well, right now I'd recommend you take the boat from Epcot and head to the Dolphin and try Todd English's Blue Zoo! Creative menu with well prepared food, it's a bit pricy but very good.

My vote is for Via Napoli. The atmosphere is fun, light, and very family-oriented and the food is incredible!!! The best pizza I've ever had has come from there, and the desserts are absolutely incredibly delicious! ....Aww, now I want to go back... Maybe for my honeymoon....muahahahaha!

bluezoo is my favorite but if seafood is out, then I'd go to Il Mulino or Shulas. I like the Swan/Dolphin restaurants a little better than Bistro.

If you want to go a bit more family friendly, I'd pick Flying Fish. Although the majority of their dishes are fish/seafood, they do have a few meat dishes that are reported to be very good (wouldn't know as I always get fish).

Note: We patronize only five TS eateries in all of WDW. Bistro
was one of them. Sadly, one of my favorites has severely gone
downhill. BADLY. With the price, we are now skipping Bistro.
JUST NOT WORTH IT ANY LONGER.
. . . too many kids, as they can order from Chefs kid's menu
. . . the kid noise destroys the atmosphere serenity
. . . unique menu dishes are going away
. . . inferior meni items are substituted (eg. snails changed)
. . . old favorites are being dumbed-down for budget reasons
. . . waiters seem less attentive

Artist Point has been regaining its former quality and uniqueness.
It now replaces Bistro on our recommended eatery list.

My personal choice would be Le Cellier in Canada! If you go for their last lunch service (I think it's somewhere around 3:50) you only need to use one dining credit. If you go for dinner it is two. They have amazing steaks as well as desserts, my favorite was the maple creme brulee. Yummy pretzel bread sticks to start off with as well. I am going back next year for sure! Hope whatever you chose you LOVE and have a magical time!

I'd go with Le Cellier also. If I was trying something new I'd pick Les Chefs or Rose & Crown.

If you're on the ddp-I would go with Le Cellier for a late lunch (not worth 2 credits @dinner). Yachtsmen-if you have 2 credits to use.

My vote is for Teppan Edo. I absolutely love it and enjoy watching someone else do the cooking

When you said 1 ADR, I'm not sure if you were talking about DDD? If your looking non-signature, my two favorite in EPCOT are Les Chefs de France (for the food, romantic atmosphere, and great service) and Rose and Crown (mainly for the food). Also, we tried Kouzinna for the first time a couple months ago and the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was really nice too.

Thanks for all of your answers. I thought about Les Chef's and also Le Cellier...Do any of you feel too full after "snacking around the world" to eat at either place?

No one mentioned Coral Reef...is it because these places are just that much better?

They had wonderful food at one time, but now it's touch and go, no consistency. Also their wait staff is awful, it takes a long time to get your food, and an even longer time to get your bill!
