It's a good example of what sets Disney apart from dirty californian carnivals. Disney parks are much more peaveful so you don't wear down as fast. Disney parks have so many attractions you sit during. Disney parks have so much shade and benches to keep cool and relax. Plus the music is harmonius.

I'll switch with you. I have not left the house since Sunday. I miss going out and seeing adults. I did not get a call back for the job with the crazy hours, so I am guessing they went in a different direction (they needed the person to start on Monday after getting through another interview with the big boss). Since the spend too much time in Chicago job is out of the question, I may not get weekday interaction with adults for a while.

My teleportation device is broken. If yours is working, happy to swap! But I need to get back for next week so that I can resume normal programming.

Errands went pretty well. Got all of them done except one.

Soccer went ok. Kids were a little crazy at times. I assign them positions and a couple minutes later I swear the offense is in the back and defense at the front. We had a full team they didn't. I asked if they wanted to play 6 and a sub and the coach said all 7 would be fine. About 10 minutes in one of thiers had a dentist appointment and thier coach came over and said he was down to six. I think a little bummed his 1-0 lead suddenly became a trailing 1-3 score. So I said I would pull out another kid on the next substitution. I'm not sure of the final score but 5 of my kids scored which was awesome, seeing so many get a turn to get a goal.

Quick dinner and then some reading, summer lessons and legos.

That ride was in the little kid ride area right by the Race Horse track building. It was on the opposite side of the all the adult rides at Cal Expo. The bird sanctuary was nice and seeing all those different birds. Your welcome Jo.

Sometimes I am so surprise to see Disney characters on those carnival rides. Does the Disney company allowed those carnival rides to use their characters on those rides or what?

We are really not playing for score. Though some of the kids are very aware of the score and most will feel it if we win or lose.

It's too bad the letters haven't been installed. From what I read they are redoing the whole entrance and that could take a lot of time.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the pictures. It's possible they are licensed, though the Cars picture looks a little junky to be allowed as licensed characters. Though it seems like a carnival using Disney characters illegally would have Disney lawyers all over it.
