Those rates are so much better than when I went. They really stuck it to people going close to the Cars Land opening. What is sad about that is I knew months before the annoucement we were going those dates. Had I booked the hotel early, I bet I would have saved $$$$. The standard room rates were $305PP, $400 DLH and $485 GC (with no discounts available at all, since I have no AP). Hope the prices come down even more for you.

When I looked at the rates for Angela trip in September, those were the lowest price on the AP website. I also see that her trip is after Labor day which means that the DLR is in the slow season. No kidding that the prices during the summertime are just crazy and even during the slow season. Later on when Angel's trip is getting closer, the rates can change and all of a sudden the rooms can be cheaper then what she got at $216.

School breaks are always so high during any part of the year while slow school days are less.

It is highly likely that there will only be show of WoC during your visit since it is on the weekdays and after Labor day.

It was the same way for our trip. I went in knowing we would not accept the WoC passes. We just chose the appetizers anyway, because we wanted to try them. Everyone was ready to go before dessert time even approached, so we never had dessert. The waiter offered us the passes, since we did an appetizer and entree. If Crap was not so anxious to leave, we would have accepted the passes.

It sounds like the CM didn't know. You can do an entree and either dessert or appetizer. May work well in your case to share one of each.
